I tried using these to prevent dust and debris from the floor from getting into the power outlets on my UPS. This was a mistake. The UPSs outlets are too tight. I installed a few, and for one, the outlets were too close, so they overlapped. Then, I could not simply remove them by hand. I pulled hard enough that I tore the handle off the plastic plug. I then had to use a screwdriver to pry the cover out of the socket (which did not seem safe at all), which removed the cover, but one of the plugs prongs snapped off inside the UPS. I had to then use pliers to pull out the broken prong, which fortunately snapped off where I could pry it. I was able to remove the others by hand, and I mean, they did work fine in the house outlets, in that I could remove them, but the UPSs outlets grip too tightly. When I did remove them, I could tell that the metal inside the socket had dug into the plastic cover, which was why they were impossible to easily remove. I ended up just covering the outlets in clear plastic moving tape.

It was easy to put them in the outlet, but once they are in, it was quite hard to remove them. They may break during removal.

Great if you are in the toddler phase of where they stick things in unsafe places.

These covers are safe child safe, and nail friendly for users.

I would definitely buy these again , they definitely snug worked as I expected them to

I love these! Easy to plug in. Impossible for baby to remove. But easy for us adults to remove. Remember to slide the piece outward first (slide in the direction of the arrow) then bend it toward you AND THEN pull it out.

We have a little one just starting to move and these are great. Too difficult to get his little fingers behind!

I mainly wanted these to keep dust out of plugs on power strips. I gave it 3 & 4 stars because these plugs do ‘not’ fit ALL power strips / brand names and off brand names.

They do the job and cover the outlets in a non hideous way. Once the pull tab is out, they are really easy to pull out, but the slide down mechanism is VERY hard to get

If you lack patience, don’t get them. These outlets are not only baby proofing. Even for adults is hard to remove them when needed so you better be patient and have with you something to help yourself. I know they aren’t supposed to be easy to remove for the babies protection but come on! For adults? I had to use a key to push the cap down and used strength to pull them out and I don’t want to be using any kind of tools or unnecessary strength to remove the outlets every time I need to so I will just get different ones.
