> 3 dayTook me a minute to figure out how to get the pull tab to come out. Then they went in easily and stay in place, but if you need the outlet it is VERY difficult to get them back out. My kid wont be able to remove them, but Im afraid I wont be able to either.

Greater than one weekI live in a crappy rental house with a clueless landlord. A mouse died in the wall because he put poison bait stations outside without ensuring the mice cant get in the house after they eat the poison! Months later it still smells like a dead body. I used these outlet covers to keep the smell in the walls. Did not work. Then I noticed a foul feces/urine smell, a sure sign of a nest, in an outlet next to my stove. These didnt stop the smell despite the fit being tight and secure. I dont have kids but I feel more relaxed that my cat wont accidentally electrocute himself with the outlet by his scratching post. I havent tried to remove them so I cant comment on that, but my lease is up in a few months so I shall find out soon. Im counting the days! Dont move to Portland, OR. High rent, substandard living conditions, amateur landlords with no knowledge of the law, and tenant lawyers who will tell you its illegal but difficult to prove, so no worth their time. Portland sucks! But these outlet covers are pretty good.

> 3 dayI tried using these to prevent dust and debris from the floor from getting into the power outlets on my UPS. This was a mistake. The UPSs outlets are too tight. I installed a few, and for one, the outlets were too close, so they overlapped. Then, I could not simply remove them by hand. I pulled hard enough that I tore the handle off the plastic plug. I then had to use a screwdriver to pry the cover out of the socket (which did not seem safe at all), which removed the cover, but one of the plugs prongs snapped off inside the UPS. I had to then use pliers to pull out the broken prong, which fortunately snapped off where I could pry it. I was able to remove the others by hand, and I mean, they did work fine in the house outlets, in that I could remove them, but the UPSs outlets grip too tightly. When I did remove them, I could tell that the metal inside the socket had dug into the plastic cover, which was why they were impossible to easily remove. I ended up just covering the outlets in clear plastic moving tape.

Greater than one weekI really like these. If you dont have nails good luck getting these bad boys out of the wall. They definitely get the job done and the quality is good.

> 3 daySome of them are very stiff and hard to get the piece to slide down to pull it out of the socket. Illustration picture on the box or insert inside the box, or a video on the product page would be helpful.

> 3 dayThe photo shows 3 plug protectors. Lower left is a type I installed for the older g-kids many years ago- very hard to remove. I got these plugs since they have the fold-out tab for removal. However I was very disappointed when I installed them. Upper right is the plug- notice how long the ground (round) pole is- this thing is extremely difficult to both install and remove. I solved the problem with my Dremel tool (as shown)- notice the altered plug lower right, where I cut off most of the round pole. Works nicely now, so if you have a Dremel and are willing to do a bit of altering, I recommend them, otherwise not.

> 3 dayGreat if you are in the toddler phase of where they stick things in unsafe places.

> 3 dayIt does its job. The pull handle is kind of hard to open to pull position even for me, so it will be hard for a toddler to get the plug removed.
