> 3 dayThis monitor provides beautiful image full of color and looks great with 165 hz. Wasnt a bad price but still after spending 100s of dollars on anything its a bummer to have a stuck pixel right in the middle of the screen that I will never unsee. After downloading the manual PIXIO states that up to a 0.01% pixel failure rate is normal. Doing some math on this 2560 x 1440 monitor equates that to a potential of 368 dead pixels as acceptable by PIXIO and I doubt they will return under that margin. Just be aware of that before you buy. Maybe they shipped me the one with a dead pixel because I bought the discounted one on Prime day?

> 3 dayI was alittle skeptical of the price point of this monitor since lots of other well known brands were easily $100+ more but after watching reviews on YouTube from some well know tech reviewers I decided to give this one a try. And man I was blown away at performance per dollar I was getting. Is it perfect? No, but at this price point i can’t complain one bit. The colors are far better with the ips display compared to my 240hz Alienware monitor that I pay $400 for. You do need to adjust it manually to get the best out of it but out of the box is fine too. The refresh rate is perfect for this type of output as well. The stand is the only reason why it’s not a perfect 5 stars. Legs poke alittle and not much height adjustment but I’d rather that be the cost savings instead of the screen itself.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor having never used a high refresh rate screen before. Though my experience is limited I would recommend buying this as a budget option for 144hz gaming. CSGO is a dream to play, Warzone is a lot more fluid, and even story based games like Hitman 2 benefit from increased fluidity. Gaming is absolutely great for the money you pay. It also includes Free sync which both GeForce and Radeon cards can use with a range from 48 to 144, great addition for higher fidelity games. Desktop use is good as well, though I have found that there can be some ghosting if I leave the overdrive function on (only for the max setting) for desktop. It is minimal for my panel. That is made up by the colors. Since it is IPS colors look great, almost as great as my Lenovo IPS I edit on. The monitor stand is sourda bad, too small and short. But there are VESA mounts. Speakers are hot trash but you are probably using headphones. Great monitor for the price, if your gpu can push the frames go for it!

> 3 dayIn terms of the actual display Im happy with it, especially at the given price point. The stand is not ideal to me, however. Im not worried about it in terms of sturdiness or stability, it can definitely hold up the screen. But it completely lacks any height adjustment with only a swivel to tilt it up and down. As well as that, the front two legs of the stand jut out very far forward, eating up desk space unnecessarily. The monitor is VESA compatible, so I would highly recommend an alternate mounting solution. Overall the issues with the stand knock a star off for me but in terms of the actual display and panel its great

> 3 dayWhen it first arrived I had high hopes for it being pretty decent. And decent it was. The picture quality is very good when playing some games like GTA or any bright games on the PS5, but whenever I would play games such as Resident Evil 8, you could notice in multiple spots, a very bright backlight bleed. I tried to avoid it but it kept catching my eye and was very distracting whenever I entered a dark room. I ended up returning it then purchasing a new one in hopes of it just being a defective product, but the new one came with the same problem just not as severe as the first.

> 3 dayMonitor works fine and does what is says it does HOWEVER, Not sure why, but I am unable to use both 1440p and 120hz at the same time on Xbox series x, so you’re basically stuck deciding which feature you want to use over the other. I’ve tried everything to get them to work at the same time. Decreasing the bits for each pixel didn’t work either. If you’re getting this monitor for series x, I would recommend not doing so. Might as well just get a 1080p monitor with 144hz refresh rate (much cheaper, same features) or spend more money on a monitor that supports both feature on series X at the same time All these comments saying “works great for series X” must not have tried changing the console settings before posting (they have to be manually changed to 120hz and 1440p), otherwise they probably would be having the same issues.

> 3 dayAfter a series of shipping mishaps with USPS, my package was declared ‘lost’ and I was issued a refund. However the monitor ended up showing up at my place later, so I had the refund and the monitor. Of course the right thing to do is let someone know that I did in fact receive the monitor, but upon setting up the monitor I was motivated to immediately call Amazon because the quality was that good. Of course Amazon could take the loss, but Pixio deserved every penny for the quality it delivered. Great color, no dead pixels, minimal glow, good response times. A simple design, minimal adjustability, but if you really care about that then get a VESA mount, I think a devoted monitor stand doesn’t need to do much. It’s super bright for me, I keep it at 10 brightness (out of 100). I’ve hooked it up to a PC and a Xbox series x, works out of the box with either at maximum refresh rate.

18-12-2024first of all, i would like to clarify that the version of this monitor i bought was the PX278, so keep that in mind, and what i say may only apply to that specific monitor. I bought this monitor for my xbox series X and it works great! i was able to get 1440p 120fps on my xbox just by turning 120fps on. i saw some reviews where people said they couldnt get 1440p 120fps on their series X/S, but i believe most of those reviews were people making the mistake of plugging the HDMI cable into the 75HZ port. on the px278, there is a 144HZ port and a 75HZ port, so make sure you plug in into the right one. Also make sure you are using the ultra high speed HDMI cable that comes with next gen consoles, without it you will only get 1080p 60fps. after that, you just have to go to xbox settings and arrange them to get the most out of your xbox. i would assume most of this applies to the PS5 aswell. Now to the quality and picture. The stand that comes with the monitor is made of sturdy metal, and it fits into the monitor very securely ( assuming you use the right size screwdriver), and the monitor itself feels very solid and sturdy. The resolution looks very impressive, especially for the price range, and the 120FPS seems to run very smoothly. The monitor may be a little bright or dark depending on how you play, but you can change the brightness in the settings. you can also change the saturation and contrast of the colors on the screen, so its very easy to change it if you dont like it. And in case anyone was wondering, i dont believe there are any colorblind settings. i was hesitant to get a 120fps monitor, because i didnt think it would really be much better than 60 fps, but you can tell the difference. you cant tell the difference between 60fps and 120 right away, but once you start playing FPS games or fortnite for a little, you will notice yourself lining up shots much better than before. so while there isnt necessarily a big visual difference between 60fps and 120fps, it still makes games feel smoother and gives you an advantage. Overall, this is a great monitor, and its great quality, i very much recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap monitor that will let you get the most out of your next gen ( or current gen ) console!

> 3 dayPX277 - I bought this monitor for 1440p gaming with FreeSync, 165hz refresh rate, and < 1ms response time, with my GTX 1070. I am impressed by its features, and performance, especially at the price point. I was a little worried about FreeSync working with Nvidia G-Sync, since this monitor wasnt on Nvidias compatibility list, but I managed to get it working. You have to enable FreeSync on the monitor before your graphics card will detect the capability. Once FreeSync is enabled, you can enable G-Sync settings from the Nvidia Control Panel. When you go through G-Sync setup, make sure to select the final checkbox, under display specific settings, even if your only using one monitor. Also, review the global 3D settings, and make sure Monitor Technology is set to G-SYNC Compatible. There are some other settings here you may want to tweak for performance. There is an issue with the monitor blanking, due to low frame rates, causing the refresh rate to fall below the monitors range. This rarely happens in game, but it does happen ocassionally. However, some desktop applications, like LibreOffice, also trigger G-Sync, which causes this blanking behavior very frequently, outside of gaming. So I just keep FreeSync disabled, when Im not gaming. I found reference that you can use a third-party app called Custom Resolution Utility to help manage this, but I havent researched it enough yet. Im not sure about HDR, though. Ive never had an HDR capable display before, so its probably a settings issue, but HDR doesnt seem to work properly in some games, then works beautifully in others. I generally leave HDR disabled, unless I know it works for the game Im playing. I almost bought a similar 1440p, G-Sync Certified monitor, with a 144hz refresh rate. But when I saw this one, with higher 165hz refresh rate, at a lower price point, I figured I would give it a shot. Overall, I am very happy with how this monitor performs. FYI; I couldnt find this doccumented anywhere, but you can turn the monitor on/off by long-pressing the menu rocker switch, on the back of the monitor.
