We love it!! It cleans up dog hair really well! I’d buy another for the upstairs.

1-year update: Its been a year, so Id thought Id revisit. Sadly, I have to knock another star off because I dont know why this vacuum cant find home when it needs to charge. If the vacuum is in another part of the house, say the kitchen or front hall, it gets totally confused about where it is in relation to the charging station. Why cant this thing just remember where it is? I have to pick the thing up then and place it down in front of the charger, which kind of defeats the point of automatic robot vacuum. Other than that, it still works pretty much. Update: Im downgrading my original review. Theres nothing smart about the smart feature. Im sitting here looking at a large patch of bare floor that needs to be vacuumed and Im pretty sure unless I intervene and physically move the vacuum, it wont get done. Ive watched this thing cover the same area 3 or 4 times, while missing entire areas completely. Moreover, I dont know if this vacuum can sense my presence, but it seems like sometimes it is always underfoot. Wherever I am, its there, banging into my feet. Also, Id love it if when it gets stuck, it just backs itself out rather than trying to wedge itself under a piece of furniture even more. Original review: The main thing to take away from this review is the this vacuum does an excellent job of doing what we needed it to do: eliminate the daily broom routine. Because we have multiple cats and the majority of our floor space are hard surfaces, we would spend a lot of time sweeping up cat litter and hair every morning. This vacuum has almost completely solved that problem. Yes, we still do have to bust out the broom for those hard-to-reach places and whatever the vacuum misses but those times are fewer and far between. That said, its not perfect. It doesnt perform well on uneven surfaces such as along edges of rugs and mats. Also, the little spinning brushes in the front are fairly competent in their intended purpose, but do sometimes scatter debris out instead of in. This means that if the vacuum has already gone over one area, and it flicks a bit of litter or dirt into that area, it might not pick it up unless it passes over that area again. Im not sure what is so smart about the Smart feature. Lately, the vacuum has been getting stuck more often in places that it didnt get stuck in before, which just means I cant leave the thing unattended like I would like to. Also, the mop feature is underwhelming. I mean it tries but it wont be replacing the mop any time soon. Dont buy this vacuum for the mop, its more an afterthought than something you should base your purchase on. Battery life is good, so far about an hour with suction set to high. This is more than adequate for our small area but isnt close to the advertised 2 hours. That said, ymmv.

I have only owned normal roombas before this and I really wanted something that mopped or would at least help with the upkeep of my floors. We don’t wear shoes in the house but somehow the floors are always in need of a mopping. They are mostly wood and vinyl in the kitchen. Or cement in the basement. Pros: 1) noise: this is a quieter robot than all but 1 other I’ve tried 2) intelligent programming: the functions even on random do a much better/smarter job of floor coverage than other bots I’ve used especially mopping where it generally goes in back and forth rows to cover the whole space 3) gentle: it is less rough about bumping into furniture and walls and does a good job going around legs of furniture making a nice circle. (We called another robot Agrobot and bully bot because it would shove furniture around and literally took off a chunk of paint on the corner of my cabinetry) 4) water quantity: this got the floors damp but not wet which is very important for wood especially and I could walk on them again about 20 minutes later without leaving footprints in the mop job 5) mop pad: the mop pad is the width of the vacuum (which is also a decent width and not as small as other models more like a roomba size) so it has better coverage. 6) cleaning tool attached: it comes with a little tool to cut hair and things off the vacuum roller that fits in right next to the collection bin. This was a great design choice 7) extras: they included extra of the front sweeper brushes, a filter, magnetic stripping to keep it out or off certain areas and even a small pack of zip ties to help keep your wires out of the tikom’s path. Cons: 1) receptacle size: the size of the collection tray isn’t large better than some but smaller than a vacuum only bot. It is good that it more separated than the one model I tried so it stays dry. The design is easy to empty. The water section is also very small but I haven’t had an issue with it running out in the about 700ish square feet where I run it. 2) No cleaning liquid: you’re only supposed to put water in the mop and there isn’t any option for somewhere to add a cleaning solution. This is true across all the mopbots I’ve tried so I just spray my cleaning solution straight on the floor, but it is a convenience I hope will be available on future models. 3) Home: it’s not the worst or the best at getting back on its dock. This seems to be a design flaw in robot vacuum in general though. Maybe I need to anchor the charger somehow so it can’t move. 4) Mop pad attachment: I have a hard time trying to get the pads looped over the 3 front pieces and velcroed flat on the pad, but it seems to work with other non proprietary pads as well so I’m happy enough with it. Overall I would recommend you try this if you want a mopping vacuum boy.

Why didnt i purchase one of these years ago? I was skeptical about its ability, but it does a better job than I do of getting into corners and under table. I was also surprised at its ability to pick up. The brushes and rollers do an excellent job in concert with one another. Im ashamed to say I was apalled at the amout of material I found the dust bin and the sad realization I had been living in filth and was clueless. Do take your time in preparing the space by picking up items that might get trapped and rerouting wires to lamps and fixtures that it might become entangled in. I am totally pleased with its performance and would recommend it without hesiatation.

I have several robot vacuums from different brands. This is pretty quiet but the mop is completely useless. It’s just a wet cloth that just BARELY touched the floor.. it can pick up a tiny wet spill of a drink but nothing more.

This little guy has been a blessing! We have two pets and it’s exhausting keeping up with all the cleaning in a 3 story house. We run the robot during the week and it makes deep cleaning a lot easier on the weekend. We haven’t had any technical issues the past few months either. You can even schedule the vacuum to clean automatically

I absolutely LOVE this household helper! We have two teens and three cats equaling LOTS of fur, crumbs and dirt. I’m extremely impressed and satisfied with this purchase. I cannot believe how well it picked everything up. We have hard floors, but this little robot easily transitioned between are waterproof laminate and most of my throw rugs (the ones I didn’t think needed picking up before I ran it). When I emptied this little vacuum I could not believe the amount of junk in there. I ran it two days in a row and the second day it’s still picked up quite a bit that I couldn’t imagine would even be there. The suction power is fab, I paired it with Alexa, which rocks and it is VERY WUIET for a machine (unlike our dishwasher, microwave, AC and furnace units and washing machine. I then ran the mopping feature and this also did a much better job than I anticipated. It did not get up the sticky gunk but I just went and spot cleaned those per usual, no biggie. The microfiber mopping attachment cloth is easy to wash simply with water if you fold it in half “face to face” and scrub under running water. Set up was easy because if I can do it, anyone can! VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PURCHASE! Will make me feel SO MUCH BETTER about my floors and home!

I placed its charging station under a cabinet, where its out of site. It has no problem finding its way back to it when I tell it to go charge, even if it might take a while when there are many obstacles. Its really been a great help since we got a cat. It catches the cat hair and litter that the cat brings out from the litter box. The amount of dirt and hair I empty out after it runs for a couple of hours is impressive, and proof of the vacuums efficacy. Its easy to operate with the remote. I did not download and test the phone app. The English in the instruction manual is pretty bad, so I didnt want to get the app. The battery seems to last for about two hours, as the product claims. Its more than enough. It gets stuck under furniture that are just the right hieght -- I have a few of those, unfortunately. The included magnetic strip helps avoid those traps. The way the vacuum navigates in a room and around obstacles is really impressive. I tried the mopping as well -- its not great, but it works, and its a very nice addition for a vacuum at this price point. Overall - a great help in the house.

i bought it on sale so definitely worth the price i paid. mopping function works. suction level is good enough. mops and vacuums at same time. theres only a few spots it gets stuck at consistently for me, but thats more a me problem than the robot. i cant figure out the magnetic strips.. but i also didnt take the time to figure it out either. so overall i think this robot vacuum is a great vacuum/mop and it does the job. ive had 2 other robot vacuums and i think this one is the best one out of all 3 for me.
