> 3 daythis is exactly what I was looking for. I used to own a musty smelling one from a army/navy store when I was a kid, but its long gone. Using it as a second checked bag to haul camping gear on a plane. There was an earlier review stating that this bag is only 11 wide. Theres obviously some confusion here. laid flat, this item is 20 wide. This is a BIG, top loading duffle bag.

> 3 dayGot this to store some extra gear while I was at training. After the first use, one of the eyes popped off the closure, and the strap clasp bent. The shoulder straps also leave a lot to be desired, as theyre not comfortable, even with little weight inside. But, after about four months of use, the metal components are the only parts that have failed. The canvas itself has remained intact, despite being filled to the point of bursting. I wouldnt take this to the field or trust it to the airport, but if you just need to store some extra gear or uniforms, itll work just fine.

> 3 dayReally the only down side is it is not made in the USA. At least it is from India and not China. This is your classic army duffle bag and is heavy duty canvas. Our scout leader is ex military and this is what he recommended the troop to get. You can wear it like a backpack or carry if like a duffle bag. No zippers (he said those are points of failures). One small pocket on the side with a snap. The top is cool, you just bring the corners together and feed a clip through. Holds a lot of gear.

> 3 dayGreat bag. Heavy Duty. The straps could be a little more durable. I have stitching ripping, but I am putting my SCA armor in this and its a heavy load. Arrived on time and packaged well. If the straps ever rip, Id buy another.

> 3 dayDecent bag for the price, not as high quality as the one the Army issued, but still holds junk securely. Shoulder straps adjusted, but did not stay adjusted, Could go for a better mechanism I think. Stitching on the shoulder strap came off a little on one side. Granted, I had about 40-50lbs of junk in the bag and only used one strap, but after about a month of moving it around there doesnt seem to be any change after the initial tear.

> 3 dayMy Husband been a Hunter for 52 years , many years of carrying burlap sacks on his back . I found this canvas bag on line and thought We try it out, It seemed a little less troublesome to handle than those Burlap bags , need less to say …. This bag is the best ever . Very happy with it, easier to lift with the handles , sturdy , very durable product. He loved the bag so much we ordered a few more of these canvas strap bags for hunting season for next year . Highly recommend !! We surely give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

> 3 dayThis bag caught my eye for its durable canvas material and convenient double-strap for shoulder-carrying. I used it to pack my bedding stuffs (comforter, blanket, pillows) when I moved across states. It was thrown on/off car without any concern of breaking-up. You may pack any stuffs you want (books, clothes, cookware, etc) as long as you are strong enough to carry the full bag. It is spacious for packing while room-saving for my compact car. Wonderful bag, exactly I wanted.
