Greater than one weekThis and rod is BEEFY! It is significantly larger than the unit it replaced. For the price I dont see how anyone could be it. I would buy another, if I ever need it!

> 3 dayI needed one of these for my RV water heater and it fit perfectly. Be careful removing the old one! Make sure the water is not hot and be sure to release the pressure in the system before you remove the old one. I didnt relieve the pressure and got a good shower when the anode finally came out. A plumber friend said to use an impact drive to remove the plug rather than simply twisting with a ratchet, supposedly its easier on the tanks than just twisting away with a big ratchet. New one installed in minutes with no problems.

> 3 dayBought it for the magnesium, for use as a fire staring aid. Scraping shavings off, works great. Cheap source for this camping and bushcraft staple.
