> 3 daySo part of the description is Extends the life of your water heater by corroding itself so your water heater tank doesnt and after one season this thing is definitely corroding. The old anode had been in there for at least +15 years and looked about like you would expect it to. This one has corroded mostly near the thread end enough to make me worry it will break off and drop into the tank if I tried to make it another season. But can I really complain about replacing a part that only costs $13 each season? It fit perfectly for my Fleetwood Niagra pop up.

Greater than one weekIm glad I found out I was supposed to replace this once a year in my travel trailer hot water tank. The old one was completely gone, and this was easy to replace. Be sure to get the sprayer nozzle for cleaning out your tank, it makes the job a lot easier, especially if you tank is full of calcium and sediment. Pictured is the old one I removed compared to the new one installed.

> 3 dayInstalled with ease; anode rod looks well made; haven’t had a chance to take RV out since installation. Will try to remember to do a follow up after a couple of uses.

Greater than one weekI bought this for my RV waterheater. It was almost impossible to get the threads to catch. Once they did, I was expecting the anode rod to scrrew in further. Only about 1/2 of the threads were used. Seems to work, however.
