Greater than one weekBought it as an external drive for a media server, power draw of 4 TB is too much to the point that it makes it unusable with majority of the enclosures. Would work fine with NAS/server, if you got PCI/SATA ports to spare. Disk is accessible with power-supplied USB docks, but unfortunately USB is incompatible with Samsung Magician, which eliminates secure erase, controlled over-provisioning and RAPID functions, dropping transfer speeds by overall ~15%. If Samsung added Magician support (or at least workaround) for USB connected drives, may give it another chance.
