This hard drive failed right at its 1 year anniversary...very disappointing for it to be a Samsung product....worst part was my data wasnt backed up....valuable lesson learned. Purchased a off brand replacement SSD.

This drive works great and is easy to install.

Installed it in a PS4 Pro in place of the Crucial MX500 that i ended up putting in my Laptop. Seems a tiny bit faster. Hard to say. In a computer however, its the fastest of the 2.

Ran a bit funky on a Macbook Pro 2015/16. And after 60 days the drive is dead. Not sure if it was a fluke but I decided to try a WD drive and 4 months later its still up and running.

I upgraded from a Hard Drive HDD and it was the best decision. My computer boots up in sub 25 seconds now with the Evo 870. Installing this SSD was very simple to install. You do not get too much storage for the money but, considering the speed, quality, and size it is worth it.

For the price and all beautiful, works for both desktops, laptops

Where to start with this beast. I changed my 10 year old Samsung MZ7PC1278 which still has about 80% lifespan remaining to this one. The speed leap one can see from such an upgrade is quite a lot. Its price is very reasonable. You can always go for the M.2 road which may provide you even more performance. But if youre just an regular ssd guy like myself youll solve almost about anything with with this samsung 870 EVO

Used two of these in a RAID1 configuration in a Synology 720+ NAS purely for serving Plex. Both died in about a year. RMAd with Samsung no problem. Replaced with WD Red SSDs.
