I did use this for gaming but moved up to a 980 stick m2 SSD. I use this in a different PC for general uses. Works great and is much faster the HDD. Price is good and this would be a great upgrade. Make sure your motherboard supports a new SSD drive.

unable to install properly. wasnt given the proper cable for installation. instead i was given a USB cable which is used primarily for external devices.

love these ssds by Samsung. Great value and smoking fast. I have 3 already and would definitely buy again.

Dramatic speed increase for installing updates. Wow. Downloading is dependent on your internet connection but installation is orders of magnitude better. VERY easy replacement for original PS4 platter disks. Anyone know why Sony still uses rotational disks? These are same price or even cheaper.

This is easy to install, but sadly mine did not work straight out of the box.

I have SSDs in all 3 of my computers and external data storage drives from 1TB to 4TB in size.

Previously hard drives were ready to use. Now they have to be installed using device manager to format and use the drive. This is not stated by the manufacturer.
