Didn’t take long to install, got it up and running in no time. If anyone needs a reliable ssd go with this one. Spring for the 2tb version as well, saves time on needing to upgrade.

I bought this to replace the last Sundisk SSD Ill ever have owned, due to a burned out connector that almost killed my mainboard. Transfer speed peaks at 5MB/s

Im using these in a Raid 10 array on 1 of our Virtual Server as a test and stuff runs fast. No more bottleneck. Time will tell how long they last ... dont forget some hot spares.

I cloned my internal HHD directly on to a Samsung 870 QVO SATA III 2.5 SSD 2TB, then installed the new SSD internally into laptop for instant plug-n-play!

Had a spin disk at 1tb fail. Decided to upgrade the machine to an ssd. I did not want to lose any storage space.

I bickered and hummed about this one or shelling out the extra money for another EVO but honestly..... theres minimal - if no difference between this and the EVO variant, speeds and pretty much the same in Crystal Disk Mark and Ive already written 3TB of Photoshop and other data to it with no drive life loss or errors, its well worth it and carries the same warranty period so im happy with it.

Easy to install and works very fast

Bought two of these. One to replace a failed drive and another to go into an enclosure to back up to and it is a solid setup. Samsung generally has good quality control when it comes to SSDs and when I need something a little more premium, its what I reach for generally speaking.
