17-12-2024This SSD is blazing fast. Boot times are noj existent and the snappy feel of the OS is insane. There is a reason Samsung is known for the best SSDs must buy if you have the budget.

Greater than one weekUsing this drive as a secondary for storing games and media. No issues with speed, installed fine into an Acer Nitro 5 laptop. Time will tell how long it lasts but I tend to trust Samsung products.

> 3 dayAbsolute must for PC gamers or folks moving large amounts of data. PC boot times are incredibly fast, game loading is a fraction of the time. Make sure your motherboard supports this type and you still have the docking screw.

> 3 dayThe drive didn’t show up right away. Had to go into device settings and set it up. You can find a Linus video about m.2 drives with the steps.

> 3 daySamsung is the leader in these products without a doubt. There are other more cost effective and equally good in performance such as the XPG8200, but this is the Cadillac of drives if you have the budget. I actually use this as my game storage drive and have a separate 2-1/2 SSD boot drive. This drive made a huge difference in boot time even as the secondary drive. I know, it seems backwards because of the speed differences, but this works and works well. I did not want my games on my boot drive which is not as large of capacity and not required for what I do. I highly recommend this drive, but wait to get it on sale, it then makes the price more bearable.
