I bought this to replace an old Samsung 850 SATA SSD, and it is so much faster. Its great for running as a boot drive, as well as gaming. Very simple to install as well, just make sure to read the instructions that came with your motherboard. Some motherboards come with the standoff screws installed, while some motherboards require you to install it before you add this card. Dont bend the pins!

it is easy to install and when i benched it at userBenchmarks it showed it was one of the fastest SSDs and i can feel it while using it as well

As expected, this SSD (m2) is an ideal boot drive. I use two of them in my desktop (core i9-10900 w 32g ram). Very efficient response. Windows 10 cold boots in ~8 sec. Been very satisfied with Samsungs SSD offerings, but have only used the mid-grade ones to date. Theyve been good enough to not spend the addional funds on something better.

I put this in my new i5 NUC. Using Btrfs file system for root on Mint 19 it trims in 15 seconds. Boot times are no faster than a SATA SSD (normal and expected.) A RAM-Disk file transfer of 4GB took 1.8 seconds as compared to a fast SATA SSD at 6.8 seconds. My other fast NVME drive took 3.3 seconds. NVME-CLI reports some inaccurate and some accurate Smart data, as does smartmontools. Currently Samsung Magician does not support this drive in Windows 10. This makes obtaining accurate SMART info impossible. Samsung provides bootable firmware updates for their SSD. They can be put on a flash drive by using Unetbootin or similar.

You know its pretty solid when before the computer can finish booting up the entire OS and any start up apps are already mostly open.

I ordered this for 1/10 this cost the manufacturer wanated for this size drive. Took 2 mins to install and had access. So far fast and reliable! Will buy another to replace main ssd when have time and to transfer OS over.

Needed more internal space on my Macbook Pro and wanted a cost-conscious option. This is fantastic - for the late 2013 MBP you also need a small adapter such as the NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card to make it Mac friendly, but even when adding that on the price is super.

I purchased this item a little over 2 months ago, intending to install it in my system. I already had a 500GB SATA SSD installed, and this was installed to supplement that drive. I have not installed my Operating System on it yet, though I do plan to do that.

Amazing speed and much easier to upgrade than expected. I was replacing a 256gb version to install more apps on the core system drive and this was the perfect fit. You will need cloning software (plenty of free options out there) but the whole process only took about an hour. Popped the new one in the m2 slot (make sure you check specifications of ssd and motherboard before purchasing) and everything booted up flawlessly. The 970 evo series I think are priced pretty well and the stability and speed are truly significant. Highly recommend.
