> 3 dayBought this to replace the 1 TB disc drive in my 2010 MBP. Cloned the drive (I obviously didnt have the old drive full) and swapped into the laptop. The results are astonishing! This has given my ancient MBP a new lease of life! Almost feels like a new computer - boots up much faster and large apps like Word come up in less than a quarter of the time! Browser and other apps have seen similar benefits.

Greater than one weekI cloned a Sandisk SSD to this Samsung SSD with exactly the same operating system. The Samsung is faster than the Sandisk that I had in my desktop computer. This is a great drive at a good value.

> 3 dayPut 2 of these in my computers. One iMac 27 2012 and other in MacBook Pro 2012. Should have done this years ago, but price always made me think twice. Start up on the portable is much faster now. iMac as well but quicker loading apps etc...

> 3 dayPurchased the 1TB 860 to replace a 7 1/2-month-old 250GB 970 which had been running hot in my Alienware 17 R4. Was concerned about or with Windows 10 boot time - had gotten spoiled by the less than a 2-second boot with the 970 and cannot honestly notice a difference. Ran into a derp moment when trying to use the Samsung Migration software - had forgotten about Bitlocker being in place but once the drive was decrypted, migration took about 12 minutes and was up and running with the new drive. Played BFV, which loaded just as quickly - 17 seconds, as it had done when using the 970. Overall was very happy with the move or switch...

Although many brands are cheaper, you cant beat the reliability of a Samsung, Ive had a 500gb for two or three years now running as my main drive and a few months ago picked up a 1 tb drive just as a secondary drive. Both working great with absolutely 0 issues.
