Greater than one weekExactly what is says. Works great. Came retail packaged & appears to be genuine. Install went well EXCEPT that the included software can only copy the primary drive. So if you are working on a desktop like I was (mirroring a primary laptop drive to this one) you will need other software. I was able to still get the job done with Macrium.

> 3 dayIve used these several times over the years, and have never been disappointed. I recently replaced the hard drive in my 4.5 year old Dell desktop with a 500 GB Samsung 860 EVO solid-state drive. Using Samsungs data-migration software was trouble-free and worked 100%. Took out the hard drive and installed this Samsung, and the computer booted up without a glitch, no problems. Also have the Samsung Magician software installed, which updated the firmware in the drive, so Im happy all around.

> 3 dayI got this for use in a computer running Windows 7 that I have dedicated for video editing. I built it a few years ago and run Sony Vegas which, by the way, is a great video editing program. Anyhoo, I had a couple of 1TB Western Digital high RPM drives, which did okay, but there was some delay in booting up the OS, opening up the main program, and video files. Now, however, things happen very quickly. When I open a file, it opens right now!

> 3 dayBought this as an upgrade for my wifes laptop - phenomenal speed and rapid mode is awesome! One caveat - her Dell laptop runs HOT with this thing in there. Reading multiple forums suggests this is due to the laptop being unleashed to its full speed potential and maximizing other hardware components after removing the speed bump of her old HDD - unfortunately my ignorance to computer hardware technicals precludes me from an opinion in that regard though.

> 3 dayI decided to change my slow 5400 rpm HDD to 1TR Samsung Evo 860. Its very easy to teardown my mac, of course with a little help from my friends to hold the panel. In less than 1 hr. I able to run my iMac again. First, I clone my data first before tearing it down. once i press the power bUtton. It took a long time to show the apple logo after the chime. I restarted again then go to boot and selected the new SSD. re-started again and it takes to 14 seconds to boot till my password prompt.

> 3 dayInstalled inside my ASUS Vivobook without any problems. Restored OSs with a problem. Now I have a faster boot up time, and transferring files between dirs takes no time.
