> 3 dayUpgrading from HDD, I have to point out the most obvious difference is loading times. My new computer boots up and shuts down almost faster than I can sit down or stand up. That isnt even an exaggeration if you consider the intentional delays for inputs under windows startup and bios startup. If you take that luxury in consideration for a large enough space for this to be your main drive rather than a boot drive, it is WELL worth the price. Especially if youve used nothing but HDD your whole life. Pamper yourself.

> 3 dayLet me start off by saying: the physical part of installing this was super easy. It’s basically a perfect swap for the old HDD. I upgraded my mid-2009 Unibody MacBook Pro (250 GB stock). After I installed it, I flipped it to try and turn it on. I was sent to a blinking folder with a ?, which told me that I had no OS and no way to boot. I tried sending it to the Internet OS install (Cmd + R) with no luck. Tried seeing my options by holding Control. No luck. Okay, so that means no OS for sure. So, I tried to go onto my iMac (2016) to download a bootable USB from Apple, which proved impossible. The new app store simply isn’t formatted to show OS options at all, and will not connect to ones you’ve downloaded on other devices.

> 3 dayI was bouncing between this and the M.2 970 evo... but didnt see a big enough difference to justify the cost jump (for games, load time differences varied between 1 second quicker, or less)... Also got the evo on discount so that helped as well.

> 3 dayThe comparisons of this vs a mechanical drive is crazy. This outperforms anything I have ever used. The price was high for a 4tb vs a mechanical 8tb coming in about $150 USD vs $600+ for this but its well worth it. Load times for something like a large game for Unity in the editor takes mins while a mechanical drive is almost an hour. Well worth the money. It was easy to install I used a SATA cable and hooked right up.

> 3 dayI have been keeping an eye on the Evo 2TB SSDs for my PS4 Pro and Xbox One X for some time, but the price was too high for my tastes. Thanks to the Black Friday sale and the price finally went down under $300, I bought it and immediately saw a difference in all of my Xbox games compared to the Seagate SSHD drive, or standard HDDs. My only issue is Amazon only allowed 1 per customer. SSDs are finally down to mass pricing and I recommend this to all gamers, as it is cooler, quieter, faster than standard drives and games load much faster.

> 3 dayExtremely fast and easy to install for a PS4 console. Best price for a great experience as far as gaming is concerned. The speed and performance is top quality. Easily best decision Ive made as a PS4 owner.

Greater than one weekI installed this hard drive into my Macbook Pro and it worked perfectly after using a USB to get OS back on the computer. This along with better RAM in a Mac significantly improves the computer. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayUsed in a 2010 MBP as well as a 2012 it completely brought both to life (better then out of the box) with the additional of a memory upgrade at the same time. Saved 1000s vs buying new computers
