    Didnt have a space to mount it, didnt feel like paying for a mount. Just hooked it up and set it on top of the Optical drive.

    Great solid state drive. Easy to install. You may need to search how to make this your primary drive but its simple.

    Make sure you read the instructions, which were simple but required that I make some minor changes to BIOS/UEFI. Then it installed without a hitch. I then installed a new copy of Win10 Pro. It now works SOOO much faster than the old drive, like a new computer.

    This is the second Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1 TB I have bought that worked for about 2 hours but while running intense programs like video games begins to stutter and destabilize. Multiple wipes and reinstalls of the OS did not fix this for either of the defective products. Both this vendor and the other both offered refunds but I will not be getting this brand of SSD again.

    Well, its a Samsung. Built by the #1 memory manufacture in the business. Just bought three of these (two other 500gbs) and they all work flawless... for now. Cant go wrong with this, so just buy it!
