I had a two fold need. I wanted to set up a backup system as well as use as a migration tool from my old Mac to my new Mac. Setup was very simple and all went 100% smooth.

I bought a T5 SSD 1TB to increase storage size on my new Mac mini M1 (base model with 256GB). Ive been using this drive for about two weeks now without any issues. Initially, it took me a while to figure out how to reformat the drive in APFS format, but once that was done it has been working flawlessly. I am using this drive exclusively for Lightroom Classic catalogs. Two thumbs up!

Bought this because I didnt want to run out of space on my gaming laptop, and the games run much faster if theyre installed on the SSD rather than the computer itself. Very happy with it! Going to use this forever! I had no problems with the files disappearing by themselves, nor has my games ran slow. Perfect for potato spec users.

Initially I was unwilling to compromise storage for ease of use but now that 2TB options are available it isnt a question. Light and portable enough to travel with my MacBook and fast enough to edit 42 megapixel raw photos and 4k footage as quickly as if its on your hard drive.

It is an excellent Portable drive, perfect for my needs, good transfer speed. It is worth the money.

I use the SSD as the storage on an Apple Mini instead of buying the expensive apple storage. It work great. There are a few steps you must take but one done. I like the speed and size.

I use it for my Tesla and sentry mode and while Im driving and its perfect! I highly recommend this product!
