I needed this for my DAW for some speedy external storage space and didnt want to go with traditional HDD because of the huge wait times to load libraries and samples. Very fast and no issues.

It’s incredibly small, lightweight, and fast, making this a very welcome replacement for my previous WD portable hdd. It works great with my MacBook Pro as well. It feels very sturdy and runs very cool which is a bonus. I use it for storing a ton of music samples for producing with Ableton Live so this is the perfect sd to keep storage free on my computer.

Not exactly what I expected. Was incredibly small! Granted I ordered this as soon as the sale hit and thought itd be a regular 2.5 form factor.

The T5 rocks. Great performance. Great value even when not on sale.

Formatting this to use through the Time Machine app for my Mac was easy!! Select the drive and allow Time Machine to formate for backups. Done!

Very fast. If you are using Windows 10 only, reformat this drive to NTFS, especially if you have 1000s of small files. eXfat chokes, making the drive ridiculously slow even to open. I used allocation unit 4096 bytes, but if your files are smaller that 4MB, use a smaller allocation unit to avoid wasting capacity.
