I was looking for a different way of storing video when editing in Final Cut Pro X. I have another external hard-drive for all my media but needed to have a way to pull off only the media I needed. Saw some reviews on this one and tried it and LOVE it!

I have a drawer full of the T5s for video editing, and never had a single issue. Ive edited as many as 5 streams of high bit rate 4k footage directly off one of these with no lagging at all. Ill never edit another video project on an internal drive again!

I use this drive daily with my Dell Inspiron laptop. Whether directly connected or through a docking station this is much faster than my old spinning external drive.

I was amazed at how fast things back up with this SAMSUNG T5 Portable SSD 2TB. It seems very stable with the SSD vs a spinning disc. Its also incredibly light and portable. I bought the XANAD Case for Samsung T3 T5 Portable and its the perfect combo for travel. I used to lug around bigger, slower back up drives, and this solution is a total winner!
