> 24 hourI’m currently 8.5 months pregnant and have a 2 and 4 year old who demand snacks regularly and sneak them all over the house despite my best efforts. Our classic broom, mop, and cordless handheld vacuum just stopped being a practical option for me about a month ago because I can hardly bend down anymore. We live in a 900 sq ft ranch style duplex with all hardwood flooring and an HVAC system that is way too big for our unit, so dust spews out our vents like a leafblower. The VacMop is the single best, most convenient household item I think I could have purchased right now. It is super powerful, I just have to press a different button to switch to mop mode, and I don’t have small children pulling out the cord every time I try to vacuum. The run time is about 10 minutes but that’s enough time for me to cover the whole main level. Probably not ideal if you live in a house with tons of square footage. I run it after each meal, before bedtime, and after any craft/special activity cleanup - just sticking it back on the charger after each use. I never have to empty a filter or clean out a mop dispenser - it’s all contained in the same mop pad and drops into the garbage can with the push of a button. With frequency of use, one mop pad lasts several days. We went about a week without vacuuming/mopping while waiting for more mop pads to arrive, and I had to change the mop pad once during that first cleaning session (the floors were really bad). If you’re a zero waste person, you’ll probably want to stick with a mop with a reusable pad. Another review said they used warm water and Pinesol to save money rather than use the VacMop official mop solution. The official mop solution has a very mild smell and leaves the floor feeling really nice and clean - even where there was a sticky juice spill. There’s no leftover residue or stickiness. It works really well and you can use it sparingly enough that it lasts quite a while. Overall, I can’t think of how to make this product any better. A lot of my friends have robot vacuums which isn’t great for kids and they don’t have a mop function. This is cheaper and so much faster! Total approval from this very pregnant mom!

> 24 hourReally looked forward to this. The wet mop, is small and I think if it was as wide as a swiffer wet jet that could be better. The video, and the box says it has “powerful suction” and you can vacuum apple sauce, to Cheerios etcetera. My toddler spilled Mac and Cheese I used the vac and it just pushed it around. It works for crumbs, cheerios but not wet messes at least not for me. It looks neat, lightweight, not super loud, gets through corners pretty well, lasts long in terms of battery life but that’s it. ***UPDATE the vac will not work well. If you don’t have the pads attached to it I completely forgot about that when I used it, you must use the pad with it. The mop part is still small.

> 24 hourDoesn’t suction everything and battery dies after 10 min of use. It has to be fully charged to use which is really an inconvenience considering I have to do it every 10-15 minutes

> 24 hourFirst off, I have a Shark Vacuum that has served me exceptionally well for 5 years now. I do take care of it and the fact is for carpet it is outstanding. I wash the filters frequently and replace the filters from time to time when they seem to be less effective. You cannot beat it for carpet. Thank you Shark people! We recently moved to a home that has a conservatory that is carpeted and I have an area rug in the living room. The remainder of the home is hardwood floors and vinyl tile. While having that combination is a great addition to our lives, it does get soiled and needs cleaning with more than a vacuum. I studied the options and decided what is ideal for me. I am in my 70s but not a weakling, however vacuuming (the carpet vacuum cleaner is heavy for me, the wet mopping with a rag mop, and hauling a bucket of water is a huge challenge as I have about 1400 sq ft of hard floors. I wanted a light weight, no fuss alternative and by golly, this Shark light vacuum and wash is most efficient. I went to Shark first because I love the vacuum cleaner I bought 5 years The new Shark Wet/dry mop is a bit more expensive than the other brand on the market. But that is the only comparison with the other brand that the Shark light vac/wet mop does not win. I mean it folks, this light weight battery-operated product is right there ready to go in my kitchen, its easy to use, its efficient and I can clean right when the mess is made with NO HASSLE. I highly recommend it. There is no cord to struggle with, it charges easily in about four hours, and can do about half of the hard floor in my house at a time. Frankly, if you follow the instructions word for word you simply cannot lose. It has no moving parts. The only thing you need to replace are the cleaning pads. They have a built-in vacuum compartment in the pad. You do not have to touch the dirty pads, there is an ejector. There is some critical points stressed in several other reviews that I found easy to avoid: 1. I cant get my whole house done on one charge. Ans: As you learn what works best for you, youll pick up speed. Or if you have a big house, you can plan to do the wet/dry cleaning over several days. 2. I forget to reorder the pads and cleaner. Ans: Use subscribe and save! 3. It leaves streaks of grit or whatever I am cleaning. Ans: Remember that you need to do the dry vac FIRST before you make the pad wet. If your floors are REALLY mingen (Scottish for filthy) you may have to change pads midway in the wet clean. You probably know ahead of time when your floors are extra nasty. Its also easy to take the wet/dry outside and run the pad over concrete to pull off excessive large dirt, hair etc. I also have a lab mix dog and she sheds all year long here in the South. This simple appliance picks up the fur completely on the hard floors. This is neat, lightweight and easily handled.

> 24 hourYou have to go slow and not go backward or the pad catches and messes up. But other than that, I like it.

> 24 hourI was a little disappointed, it somewhat as described but hyped up to be more than it is, not a big fan and honestly would send it back if I hadnt thrown out the box. Is a bit flimsy. The only upside to other spray mops is that you can use other cleaning products if you so choose.

> 24 hourI have used this now for a week. First con was the vacuum bin size. There may be bigger out there but havent looked. 9/10 for head action. This head swivels all over the place making it easy to get under things. Suction I would give it maybe 6 out of 10. Maybe higher for being battery powered. With that said I havent found any pet hair, hair, dust that this thing wont suck in at 6 distance. So far Im impressed. Not even considering returning it. Just keep in mind this is for fast cleaning. Loose stuff it works awesome. Even when my daughter drags in hay from the barn. I havent spent much time using the mop but it sprays good. Little concerned on how much the replacements are going to cost. I would like to see more vacuum bin capacity but with that said I havent plugged it full yet. Its light weight, head action is 9/10. Battery life so far I would give 10/10 because I can do the whole house and still after 20 minutes the battery is still going good. In my opinion the wasted battery life on the headlights is stupid. It might benefit someone but I have lights in my house.
