> 3 dayI decided to give my aging laptop one last hurrah and didnt want to splurge on RAM since I will likely replace the computer within the next 1-2 years. It has an AMD A6-7310 APU and came with 4GB of RAM.

> 3 dayI have purchased numerous Silicon Power products over the years. They have never disappointed. This RAM works well.

> 3 dayUpgraded my mid 2012 MacBook Pro from 8GB to 16GB. The memory installed without issue and has been going strong for the last few weeks. Made this older MacBook run great along with a new SSD. There was other higher priced RAM options, but this worked and was the best price. Would definitely buy again and recommend to others who have an older Mac.

> 3 dayI replaced the 4GB of original memory in my mid 2012 Macbook Pro with this and it is like a whole new computer! Opens massive Photoshop files instantly! It was easy to install even for me, a not very technical person, although I did need to buy a special tiny screwdriver. I could probably make it even faster with a new SSD, but upgrading the memory made such an improvement that Im completely satisfied and no longer feel like I need to spend the money for a new hard drive. A way cheaper and easier fix.

20-12-2024Installed on late 2013 iMac 21.5 and it works great. 2x8gb, 16GB total and SSD drive really woke up my iMac. The installation is very involved and requires opening up the iMac. For the price you cant go wrong with this.
