> 3 dayGreat light switch that is compatible to Alexa. I was pleased that it came with all the parts necessary to install including the extra wire extensions needed to connect to the existing wires. Only uncertainty that I had was once hardwired, I was a little confused on how to connect it to wifi. I sent technical support an email and they (LULU) replied very quickly with a very helpful response. All I needed to do was touch the switch on the “ON” symbol for about 5 seconds and then release. Then the wifi symbol blinks blue and then you go to the Smart Life app and follow the setup directions. Once that’s done Alexa automatically was linked. Be sure to change the name of the device to something more personalized so that you can call it by name instead of the numbers/letters default name that gets assigned. Thanks again LULU for the help! Great product and will buy again in the future!

> 3 daySwitches worked great! Connected instantly to WiFi. I do not have Alexa etc. so didnt try that functionality. As long as you know basic electrical work IE knowing load, line, neutral and ground, installation is easy and straight forward. Only reason did not give 5 starts as I was disappointed there was really no programming instructions provided. Tech support gets 5 stars as I queried about programming and they answered same day! Great Tech Support.

> 3 dayWe feel so much safer being able to control our lighting with Alexa no matter where we are. The face itself is a touchplate you can turn on and off with a light tap. However, this was incredibly difficult to install. Im sure its because we we were switching out standard plates/wiring in an older home. If you will be doing the same, you will need a larger electric box to hold this. Otherwise great upgrade for any home.

> 3 dayThis light switch was easy to install but not because of the instructions. With some prep work on YouTube was able to figure everything out. Absolutely must check your house wiring before you even purchase it. Make sure you have a neutral line. Hold down the power button for about 5 seconds after it’s installed, that’s when the light for the WiFi begins to blink. Use the app to add it and In my case Alexa found it as soon as I added it to the SmartLife App. Works perfectly, I am very satisfied. Already ordered a couple of more and once those are in a final round to finish my entire house with these light switches. Would like to see one without any WiFi features because in my home multiple switches control the same light and would like to change those to have an uniform look.

Greater than one weekThe switch does a great job of turning the lights on and off; however, Alexa rarely recognizes them. She always works on the ceiling fan switch; however, will never turn on the light. She will turn off the light though. Its pretty frustrating.

> 3 dayBasic electrical skills will allow you to install this with little to no effort. However, the back of the unit that goes in the wall is bulky, and makes wire management essential to get it to fit properly.

> 3 dayAfter 6 months, one of the 2 switches just dropped off the radar. Tried repeatedly over a couple of days to reinstall onto WiFi with no success. The mate to it never had a problem in the same period. Contacted the e-mail support and got some advice but initially that did not solve the issue. After a couple of days, tried a fresh whole new install and it worked. Switch works well with Alexa to the extent that nothing works really well with Alexa. Mostly the problem on the Alexa side is Alexa also forgetting what WiFi it is using and name mis-recognition for the light switch.

> 3 dayThis product was a little rough to install but overall loved the look and functionality. However we have only had it installed for 3 months and the button for one of the switches is falling off and will not reattach.

21-12-2024Installed with no difficulty. Downloaded app. Went through complex programming; guidance available only in app and very awkward. Worked manually and through scheduled on and off for a few days. Then scheduled functions did not occur. Still worked manually and showed operation to be scheduled but all failed to occur. Repeated app download and set up several times, still no response to scheduled events. Removed and replaced with KASA.

> 3 dayOkay... first I ordered the 2-gang version of this item in order to control both the bedroom light as well as the ceiling fan. The item arrived quicker than expected (about 16 hours from the time of the order... BRAVO Amazon!). That said, I am taking away one star simply because the instructions for installation and then for syncing the item to my network werent exactly easy to follow. Now, having said that, Ill be the first to admit that when it comes to installing an electrical device of any kind (where I am the one having to play with wiring) I am not the brightest bulb in the box (pun intended). However, because I know that I dont know diddly about wiring, I must have very precise step-by-step (with pictures) instructions or I tend to be VERY overly cautious and thus end up reviewing multiple YouTube instructional videos to make sure that I have it down pat before I even pick up the screwdriver. Anyway... the installation itself took me approx. an hour. Then the registration, account setup and syncing took me another hour due to the fact that I was having trouble getting the switch to find and sync with my network. Well... eventually I won and the switch admitted defeat and now everything works as expected. I had no problems whatsoever linking my Alexa App to the products app and then being able to use Alexa to turn on and off both the light and the ceiling fan. Ill be adding a routine via Alexa, which will now turn off the light, turn on the ceiling fan, adjust the volume to 4 and start my sleeping music after I give the command, Alexa, Good night. Ive included two photos (one with the lights on and the other with them off) so that you might see the difference and the brightness of the switch. Yes, there is always light coming from the switch and as far as I can tell, there is no way to turn this off. I would and will recommend this switch to family and friends who are looking to trade in their standard 2-gang switch for a Smart version. UPDATE (09/16/2021): Since the initial review, I have purchased a total of 5 more of these switches. All are installed and working well. One of the switches was a little more difficult to setup, but when I used the ap mode to setup the switch with the network, everything worked flawlessly. I cant recommend these enough. Great product!
