> 3 dayIF YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR HOUSE TO BURN DOWN STAY AWAY FROM THESE. ….Well, I ordered 4 of these last week and have already had to return 2. One burned a hole through the timer and could have easily started a fire. The second one stopped working on the first day. Was used at a 5 amp draw and it is supposed to be rated for 10 amps. Buyer beware. So sick of China junk

> 3 dayPROS: These are great plugs for standard use. They have been way more reliable staying online during power cycling the router and power failures than my TP-LINK Kasa homekit ones. I’ll use these for very critical power sensitive gear. I have the Yolink ethernet hub and think that maybe the hub is why the connection is more constant. I recently changed wifi networks and passwords these stayed online without a glitch. My Kasa Homekit plugs tho, not only went offline, I could not even remove them from my app (because I didn’t know to delete them before deleting my old network), and had to start over creating a whole new Kasa account. I also lost tons and tons of automation I was using with them and Alexa. CONS This is more for hardcore automation people but as of now, these plugs do not offer as many automation capabilities as the Kasa plugs do and the Kasa plugs are cheaper! They can do some very basic ones, but oddly, they do not allow for changes in their power state to trigger automations like scene changes in the Yolink app. Oddly Kasa plugs can do this! Go figure. You have to bring everything into Alexa though, where when Alexa sees the power state changes, she will change the Yolink scene change in her app and that scene change will sync with the Yolink app scenes. If Yolink fixed this then Alexa could be cut out of the loop and these plugs could the little savior bridges between Yolink and Homekit, which I would much prefer. When they do this, I‘ll give these 5 stars and will buy a bunch more too.

Greater than one weekIm generally quite satisfied with YoLink products. The range is great; connectivity on all devices (of which I now have 8) is above average and the features on such devices such as the temperature/humidity sensors are excellent. Regrettably, the single smart plug I own does not live up to the standard set by its sibling devices. It loses connectivity often, despite its being less than 20 feet from the YoLink hub. Sometimes, when I activate the device with the software, Ill receive a message through the app that the device is disconnected, but the plug will still carry out my command. Other times, quite randomly, the message regarding the lack of connectivity is spot on and device status remains unchanged. Ill explore YoLinks other devices in hopes they are better than this smart plug. I may need to return this one, though, since it is a central component of what I consider a critical automation function - preventing pipes from freezing during cold spells.

> 3 dayWe purchased the motion detectors and smart plugs to help us monitor my parent who has dementia. They work great, were easy to set up and easy to link with our Echo.
