The customer service for this company has been really great, but the over all experience tells me that their quality control is rather poor, which is why I have to give them 2 stars. For the following 3) orders, I have experienced an issue with each one. Order 1) Hub - The hub I received logs on and offline frequently, it is currently being replaced by the company. The troubleshooting for the hub is relatively simple - turn it off, turn it back on again, put it on an ethernet cable and try again. If this does not resolve the issue, theyll replace it. Order 2) Door sensors - They sent water sensors instead, but did replace them and sent a shipping label to return the wrong item. Order 3) Smart Plug Mini - of the two received only one worked out of the package. Overall, I like the app and its ease of use; I do wish there were some features like setting times on the alarms for the door sensors. I think that the items do work well together, and you could really get a nice system set up for yourself... But I would beware the issues Ive described above.

Easy and quick to set up. Reliable, long-range, easy to link with a sensor, priced very well.

I have found Yolink products to be some of the most reliable products on the market. I have this plug in an out building about 200 ft from the hub. It works great.

Handy way to have timed outlet functions. YoLink equipment is simple, inexpensive and convenient.

Excellent software control of devices with many features and ease of programming. Setup out of the box consists of scanning the Q code and plugging into the outlet. Every device has its own schedule and can be activated out of the schedule mode by Alexa or pressing the side button. LED light changes from red to blue indicating whether on or off. Plug configuration still allows access to the second receptacle of a duplex outlet. Clean design.

I bought 3 of these to use for some temporary lighting. The setup was extremely fast and easy; it only took a few seconds. While I dont plan for these to be permanent, they look good and would not be an eye sore if they were. Definitely a good buy.

    1. Implementation could not be simpler. Scan the barcode on the device with your phone, give the device a name and assign it to a room, hit the bind device to network button in the app, then press the set button once and, voila, the device is active on your network. 2. Usefulness - I have my washing machine plugged into this device and, in the event of a leak, the nearby Yolink leak detector directs Yolks shutoff valve to turnoff the water main, and this plug cuts electricity to the washing machine (my concern is that a flood come come from either, say, a hose breaking OR from a clogged drain within the washing machine; thus, the need for this plug). The app then notifies me via text, email, iOS notification that a leak was detected and the power to the washer has been cut (and the Yolink Siren Alarm also goes off. Gee, I probably know whats going on by now, huh! :). 3. Energy Monitoring - Easy to read graph shows power usage. I highly recommend this device. Exceptional quality and value.

No more wondering if my girlfriend turned her curling iron off! And my living room lamp comes on and goes off the same time every day, or I can turn it on from bed if I need to. Customer service is absolutely THE BEST, Eric will help you with any issues. He even emailed me months after to check on how everything was working.

PROS: These are great plugs for standard use. They have been way more reliable staying online during power cycling the router and power failures than my TP-LINK Kasa homekit ones. I’ll use these for very critical power sensitive gear. I have the Yolink ethernet hub and think that maybe the hub is why the connection is more constant. I recently changed wifi networks and passwords these stayed online without a glitch. My Kasa Homekit plugs tho, not only went offline, I could not even remove them from my app (because I didn’t know to delete them before deleting my old network), and had to start over creating a whole new Kasa account. I also lost tons and tons of automation I was using with them and Alexa. CONS This is more for hardcore automation people but as of now, these plugs do not offer as many automation capabilities as the Kasa plugs do and the Kasa plugs are cheaper! They can do some very basic ones, but oddly, they do not allow for changes in their power state to trigger automations like scene changes in the Yolink app. Oddly Kasa plugs can do this! Go figure. You have to bring everything into Alexa though, where when Alexa sees the power state changes, she will change the Yolink scene change in her app and that scene change will sync with the Yolink app scenes. If Yolink fixed this then Alexa could be cut out of the loop and these plugs could the little savior bridges between Yolink and Homekit, which I would much prefer. When they do this, I‘ll give these 5 stars and will buy a bunch more too.
