> 3 dayThe whole system works really well as I have continued to build on it. I have experience with multiple systems by many manufacturers, and the YoLink products are the most user friendly by far.

> 3 dayIve installed about 40 Alexa-enabled smart gadgets in our home. Ive tried just about all the available smart devices, particularly smart plugs on the market. YoLink are the best because they are so easy to set up and dont lose the wifi connection, like other products Ive tried. Yes it requires a YoLink hub, but the hub is inexpensive and is probably the reason YoLink devices are so easy to set up and link to other devices. Ive purchased YoLink branded motion detectors, wall plugs, water sensors and temperature alarm. All the products are easy to set up and are compatible with other YoLink products and Alexa. The company also provides outstanding support. (Ive even become best buddies with Eric, with whom Ive been emailing about a weather-proof kit that will automatically turn off the water when the companies water detectors detect a leak.

> 3 dayEasy set up, very little latency and super long range. Works well with Alexa and you can set up your own scenes and triggers. For instance I own a acre lot and my barn in all the way on one end and my house is on the other end of the lot and I have full signal with all units. Anyways I have it set up so that as soon as I open the door the shop lights come on. I love that because the light switch is on the far end of the 24 foot barn, no more fumbling in the dark. Only draw back is the app looses its place and may show a light is on when its off and sometimes it may say cant connect but it will work after a couple tries. All and all I love it and will be purchasing more of their products

> 3 dayThe reason I decided to try YoLink and their devices . 1) The price of the hub is very reasonable, unlike other smart hubs I have been looking at. 2) All the different smart devices that Yolink has. 3) After reading up on YoLink devices, the hub and devices are extremally easy to setup. Open the app, scan the bar code on the side of the device (in this case, the plug) and it is connect within seconds to the hub. Then a few seconds later I get notification that Alexa has found new smart device, without needing to open the Alexa app and scan for new devices. This is great, at least to me it is. Makes it much simpler. 4) YoLink had motions sensors that would works with Alexa and my other smart devices. 5) Everywhere I searched, included youtube, YoLink received very high rating. Now to the reason I decided to try (and now love) these YoLink smart plugs. The first Yolink plug: Up until lately I only used WiFi smart devices in my home. The drawback is that if you lose internet connect, NONE of your smart devices work. I purchased one of these plugs to test. Connected it to the YoLink hub, then using the app set it so that when the motion sensor in my garage or utility room sensed motion this plug would turn on a light in the utility room. This is because every time I lose internet, it is at night (and dumb me, have wifi smart switches in the utility room and garage), and I have to reset the ISP box. It works great, I walk out there and the light comes on, leave the area the plug turns off the light, with or without internet service. Great it works as everyone said it would and it was extremally easy to setup the automation via the app. The second plug purchased: I liked how the first one worked. The second one is connected to my ISP service box that needs to be reset at least once a week. (that is what my ISP keeps telling me to do when the internet goes down) I have this plug turn off the power to the IPS service box, around 4 am every morning and turn it back on ten minutes later, fully resetting it. Problem solved, no more fumbling around in the dark trying to reset my ISP service box. It works great because the hub, not the internet is controlling the smart devices. So, Yes, I highly recommend the Yolink smart plugs, hub and their other devices for the reasons stated above.

> 3 dayWe purchased the motion detectors and smart plugs to help us monitor my parent who has dementia. They work great, were easy to set up and easy to link with our Echo.

> 3 dayI am pleased with all my Yolink purchases. For these plugs I have them set up so they auto turn on and off. I also set them up with Alexa so I can turn them on or off with a verbal command. I plan to buy more.

> 3 dayPROS: These are great plugs for standard use. They have been way more reliable staying online during power cycling the router and power failures than my TP-LINK Kasa homekit ones. I’ll use these for very critical power sensitive gear. I have the Yolink ethernet hub and think that maybe the hub is why the connection is more constant. I recently changed wifi networks and passwords these stayed online without a glitch. My Kasa Homekit plugs tho, not only went offline, I could not even remove them from my app (because I didn’t know to delete them before deleting my old network), and had to start over creating a whole new Kasa account. I also lost tons and tons of automation I was using with them and Alexa. CONS This is more for hardcore automation people but as of now, these plugs do not offer as many automation capabilities as the Kasa plugs do and the Kasa plugs are cheaper! They can do some very basic ones, but oddly, they do not allow for changes in their power state to trigger automations like scene changes in the Yolink app. Oddly Kasa plugs can do this! Go figure. You have to bring everything into Alexa though, where when Alexa sees the power state changes, she will change the Yolink scene change in her app and that scene change will sync with the Yolink app scenes. If Yolink fixed this then Alexa could be cut out of the loop and these plugs could the little savior bridges between Yolink and Homekit, which I would much prefer. When they do this, I‘ll give these 5 stars and will buy a bunch more too.

> 3 dayI have been enjoying Yolink smart home stuff for a few years. Every time I add a new item it is so easy. Once scanned, the items actually install themselves.
