Step2 595200 MailMaster Plus Mailbox, Walnut

A little smaller than our previous mailbox, but still very functional.

Great mailbox, no problems with shipment or packaging, I love the 2-sided door for mail as I live on a busy 2-lane road. A few improvements: the back plastic flap for the newspaper slot could be designed a bit better for rain/snow exclusion. I also wish the mailbox fit tighter over a 4x4, or there were additional holes on the side for screws- it wobbles a bit due to traffic on the 45mph road.

Functional, but fit and finish not premier quality.

Very easy to install but would suggest applying glue to sides of mail box parts that slide together then screwed together. Love the product because area birds no longer sit on old wooden post to do their business all over post and mailbox.

Perfect color and size for mail and small packages, durable, easy to assemble on wooden post.

Step 2 got it right with this model! As long as you already have the 4x4 post in the ground, youll have this new mailbox up in less than 2 minutes! The unit comes in 2 separate pieces, but the top piece easily slides into place onto the bottom unit and you simply put 4 screws into pre-molded holes to attach the top of the unit to the bottom portion of the unit. Once the mailbox was in one piece I placed it against the 4x4 in the ground and used the 2 long screw in bolts to attach it to the post. Project done! Stickers are also included so you can put your address on the sides of the mailbox. The material is durable and I suspect this mailbox will last for a very long time. I also like that the unit is large and can probably fit some smaller boxed packages, which is a great plus if you dont want packages you order that are small to sit out on your porch for people to see while youre away at work. They should fit into this mailbox fairly easily, which will also protect the package from the elements. Great product at a great price! Would easily order again.

After my mailbox getting hit 3 times the last couple of winters it was time to replace! I guess I never thought it would be a difficult choice to do! However after looking at and reading review after review it like to me forever to pick one! Well so far I am very pleased and Mailmaster Plus! My husband said it was fairly easy to install and I love the color! I have had it up for a few months now and it is still standing and winter is right around the corner so I will update after that!

Strong mailbox it was hot with a pick-up and just got knocked off the post the post stayed on as well.the person that hot it by accident out it back up. He was backing up..his truck and not it.

This is our second one by this company. We replaced ours only because we changed the color of our house. It keeps the mail dry and the lid closes tight. This fits over a wood post so it was easy to replace. All we had to do was remove a few screws on the back. Over time our first one flag did fade however the rest of the box still looked very nice. Wish there was a flag to replace the flag. We got Walnut color.
