Very easy to install, as we saved the 4x4 from the old box and just inserted the new box

I had no choice in buying the mailbox. Its certified by the Property Owners Association. The color is not resistant to UV light; compare to the mailbox on the right. Its extremely faded. I did not install it; after I bought it, the builder did the installation. Ive had it for 3 months and no problems. So, Im still a happy customer, although if it werent for the Association, I would not have made this purchase.

Works great. Easy to install. Magnets are pretty strong for the two openings. I’d buy it again

It was pretty easy to assemble like almost everyone said. I am a 72 year old woman so I don’t think I would have been able to manage this by myself. I had a younger neighbor help me. It was much harder removing the old mailbox. The total time for removing my old mailbox, assembling the two step mailbox , and complete installation was about one hour.

Plant a 4x4 along the side of the road and bolt this thing to it. Once the post hole is dug it takes about 20 minutes to install.

This is a great rural mailbox. The walnut color blends in well with the natural surroundings. After being set up (using the suggested 4X4 and concrete footing), the free-range cattle in my area didnt rub it down into the ditch (like my other mailboxes). The mail carrier uses the extra newspaper opening for additional packages. My only complaint is that the instructions provided did not always make clear which sides of the pole and mailbox were front or back.

I am very happy with the price and quality of this mailbox. It was easily to install on an existing 4x4 post that was left from the last mailbox. My only criticism would be that the interior mail area is relatively small compared to the large size of this mailbox.

Our old mailbox was looking rough. It had been smashed by some palm branches falling on it and was all peeled paint and rust. It was getting to the point that I was thinking they would stop delivering our mail. ;-) After searching a bit I picked up this bad boy. This thing is large and well built with plenty of room for both mail and a newspaper. Does anyone besides me still get a newspaper? Putting this together was a bit of work and requires two people and a drill. I was able to put this together with the assistance of my seven-year-old to hold it in place while I attached it. If you already have a post installed you may have to cut it to fit this mailbox. Whats holding me back from giving this five stars? The stupid bolts they provide for attaching the box to the pole are next to useless. There is no way you are going to easily fit a wrench or socket in the hole provided. I ended up just using some large wood screws and screwing this directly to the pole. So if you pick this up you may want to locate or purchase some big wood screws.
