> 3 dayL’aquarelle ne tiens pas dessus, le papier ne s’imprègne pas comme si il y avait du liquide de masquage dessus par endroit… je suis vraiment déçu au vu du prix. Pour avoir testé d’autres marque c’est la première fois que cela m’arrive . Une chose est sur Je ne reprendrai plus cette marque.

> 3 dayI love this kind of mixed media paper in this journal . It takes a lot of paint , water and layers without buckling . Ive not yet really got into this particular purchase as I have a project planned for it , but Ive used these journals before in different sizes and I cant go past them. This purchase was extremely good value for money too. I cant wait to get my project started !

16-12-2024I like a lot of Strathmores products, but this isnt one of them. It is billed as sketch, and for pencil and ballpoint pen it seems fine. Anything else and it is pretty horrible. Even quickly writing with a brush pen or fountain pen spells trouble on this paper. Its beautifully bound and looks great, but if you want to do anything besides simply pencil, I would look elsewhere. Cansons Universal Sketch for instance can hold up to much (much much much) more than this paper can. Handling it, it seems very nice, but once you start using it, the paper doesnt seem like its the 60# its billed as.

Greater than one weekinsanely awesome for art journaling. The paper is so thick and luscious. It does not curl with wet media.

> 3 dayI have been buying this sketchbook over and over again. It is very suitable for watercolor and other wet media as well as for collage. It is perhaps the highest quality large watercolor journal I have found. It is also sturdy and can be used outdoors as it needs no further support. I recommend it highly.

> 3 dayBirthday present for my granddaughter who turned 13. She loves to draw and asked for a new sketch book. It is a sturdy book and the paper is fantastic. She likes using the various mediums and says the colors dont leak through. She really is a very good artist if I do say so myself. Actually, her teachers in school say the same thing and theyve put a number of her drawings on exhibit.

Greater than one weekI use this watercolour journal for my illustrations and I couldnt be more pleased by the quality. Strathmore are a great brand for paper and their watercolour paper is just perfect. Their thick GSM is perfect for washes of colour and the paper has very little buckling which is something vital when creating illustrations. When applying watercolour to the paper it more or less sits on top of the paper and dries rather than the paper soaking it in, meaning that if you make a mistake and the watercolour is fairly wet you can simply pick the colour up with a paper towel. The feel and texture to the book is great and gives a great touch to finished pieces as the texture can often be seen through washes. Binding of the journal seems quite strong so far as Ive used it. The journal is a little pricey though so I would recommend using this if you work with watercolour a lot and your budget allows it. Edit: its been almost a year since I bought this now and this journal is still up to par, as for binding it is still strong.

> 3 dayThe cover and binding is very nice, I like the quality of the paper. As I have not use this paper in bound form before, only time will tell about how it holds water and how much it curls etc.
