Amazing quality! The hardcover is sturdy and durable and the pages within are great quality. I used it as a mandala journal with fineliner pens and they dont bleed through. Just what I was looking for.

I work primarily in watercolor, journal avidly and regularly sketch out in the field - this is my favorite sketchbook. Its smooth and doesnt tear up my micron pens, so I can comfortably write to my hearts content. It holds up to multiple washes of watercolor and has yet to bleed or pill up on me at all...despite that its a thin weight, so its light enough to carry in my field bag, and it has plenty of pages so Im free to play around in it without each page feeling as precious as the typical 10-20 page watercolor juournals do.

Excellent. Is the best for tone paper draw.

I think that the quality of the paper is pretty good, despite some buckling when wet. But the main reasons that I will not buy this sketchbook again are 1) it doesn’t lay flat and 2) the pages are only one sided and the smooth sides of the pages are back to back. Basically you get a watercolor spread then a smooth spread, watercolor spread, and so on. Hopefully that makes sense.

Sturdy, nice cover,and clean pages. Was as expected.

This is a great, high quality art journal. The pages are strong and durable. There is no bleeding to the back of the pages, even with all the paint, ink and markers I use. I enjoyed altering the cover using mixed media art techniques. I have used and worked on both sides of each page. The pages do get wavy when they are extremely wet but after they dry and the book is closed for a while they tend to flatten down again. I would recommend this journal for anyone who works with a lot of different art supplies and techniques.

Paper has decent tooth. Recommend only graphite on this paper. This is not suitable for ink sketch. Hard cover is durable and feels nice under the fingers, like semi-glossy paper, not plastic. 192 pages so if youre trying to do a daily sketch (365) youll want to do front and back. Nice size for popping into a bag on your way out the door. Easy to attach a loop for a pencil.
