> 24 hourA lot more than what I expected! It`s an elegant, multifunctional backpack with a lot of space and different pockets. It even has an area for glasses and one for tablets. I am impressed!

> 24 hourUPDATE 01/27/2020: The zipper on the shoe compartment came off completely a couple days after Christmas 2019 while traveling, rendering that portion of the backpack useless. While I was using that portion of the backpack not for its original intended use as designed by SwissGear, it should have held up for much longer than 5 months. The bag is sitting unused and empty in my home office while I use a LowePro backpack. --- Recently my 6 year old NorthFace 40L Overhaul backpack that I used for travelling, EDC, et cetera started to fall apart. When I saw this backpack on Amazon I wondered if the zippered shoe compartment would be able to fit a camera case (https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Holster-Camera-Case-Cameras/dp/B008MWBY6W/). And it fits it perfectly! I did add some extra padding inside of the shoe compartment before putting the camera case inside. While this isnt a dedicated camera backpack it suits my needs perfectly. So far Ive travelled several times around Alaska, to Seattle, and to the Midwest with this backpack and it comfortably holds my MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, Canon 6D Mkii w/ 24-105mm L lens attached, as well as a 70-200mm L lens in a padded bag along with extra room for light toiletries and random small items. My only complaint after using it for a few months is that the shoulder straps dont seem to sit comfortably around my shoulders.

> 24 hourI just got this backpack and love it. I found it had enough compartments and pockets for me to be able to separate and store all that I needed to. While I havent had it long it does seem sturdy and well made. I love the handle as when I travel I usually carry it through airports instead of wearing it on my back and the handle is very easy on my hands. But it is very comfortable to wear on my back also. I feel it does a good job of protecting my14 lap top and its also small enough to easily fit under the seat on the plane. I saw reviews where people said the zippers came undone and their laptop fell out. But I would never close my zippers at the top of the backpack. I always pull both zippers all the way over to the left side and I am sure they could not come undone that way. Even though its kind of hard I am not sure the sunglass compartment is sturdy enough to protect my prescription sunglasses. But its a convenient spot to keep snack bars in for the plane so I use it for that. All in all a good purchase and very happy.....

> 24 hourI received this backpack to replace my old messenger bag for work. It is very roomy and perfect for my laptop, tablet, and a few books. The straps have a pocket for a phone or small device to charge with the charge port being also located in the strap. The middle pocket has a USB cable that youd plug into a rechargeable power pack (not included). It feels comfortable to wear even on my big frame. I did knock a star off overall and on durability because the first time I received this, the side shoe pocket zipper was sheared off and there was considerable friction wear on the side as if the bag got shifted and scraped really hard on something. Amazon sent a replacement right away and that one was in perfect condition. Just be advised, this backpack might not be as durable as advertised. Ill use it and update this review if anything happens.

> 24 hourThis is my second Swiss backpack last one was over 7 years old. Hated to let it go but needed a new one. Have been using this one about a week. So far so good. Adjustment getting used to different placement of pockets and compartments. Gave it a 4 on comfort as it is still a little stiff. Gave it a 3 on stretch as I have not really filled it up to see how good the stretch is.

> 24 hourI use it for work, it has plenty of space and pockets. The only 1 complaint is that 1 side strap pulled off on the 2nd or 3rd time using it. I toss on the back of trucks and pretty sturdy and hasnt even scuffed up. The back straps are extremely long and hang past my knees. I really like this one and would recommend it.

> 24 hourThis is definitely a high quality backpack that has a professional look. Just to note, I bought one of the ballistic colors that come in navy or gray. Pros: 1. Quality and sturdy. When I place the backpack (empty) on the floor against the wall, it actually holds its shape. Most backpacks fold and are floppy. I can tell the material will hold over time. 2. Professional looking. Having an all navy backpack looks great at the office or work. Had a nice subtle shine. 3. Very thick and comfortable carrying handle 4. Reinforced, felt-lined sunglasses case. Very cool feature I didnt think I needed. 5. Lots of organizational pockets inside main compartments for battery chargers, cables, random stuff, etc. 6. USB-A connection outside the pack to charge your device 7. Comfortable shoulder straps 8. Insulated drink pocket keep your drink cold Cons: 1. Ballistic colorways do not have a drink mesh. As great as I like the insulated drink pouch, sometimes I just want something with quick access or something to hold a 32 oz Gatorade. The pouch will only fit narrower bottles. 2. No loops to attach random carabiners. There is literally nowhere to attach random stuff on a carabiner. My old backpack was military style with over 30 loops. I really miss having such a function. 3. Shoe sleeve. A hit or miss. Whether or not you use it to store things, really depends. I can see myself storing an umbrella in there. But then I also wonder if I carry heavy books, if itll crush whatever is at the bottom. There is a clip inside to help hold the pouch against the side on the inside if you dont want to use it. But honestly, Id rather have no pocket and just have put a giant drink mesh there. 4. Chest strap. The chest strap is a bit thin and not as robust as most chest straps, but it is serviceable. What annoyed me was that it was super long and looked awkward if I didnt clip it and it dangled. I actually cut the excess with scissors to shorten it and used super glue on the tips so it doesnt unravel. 4. Lack of exterior pockets. As organized as the internal pockets are, I feel the backpack could have sewn on some exterior pockets or open sleeves just to quickly place random things in. With the lack of mesh to place things randomly in on the go, theres not really much quick access sleeves and pockets. 5. Lack of RFID. For a $120 backpack, there could at least have been 1 RFID blocking pocket, especially if its advertised as a traveling backpack. All in all, I am most likely keeping this backpack. For me, I really needed something a bit more professional looking for work and this navy is great. It should serve most people well, from professionals to students. For the price though, I do wish there was a bit more functionality. For reference, my last backpack was an Eddie Bauer 29L Cargo Backpack that had a lot of functionality for approximately half the price and is still serviceable after 7 years. But I felt it was time to get a new backpack and Ill hopefully be using this one for years to come.

> 24 hourI love(d) this bag - high quality finish, lots of compartments, thoughtfully designed. Every thing great except the Velcro stitching has come off with in one week of usage. I don’t expect this from a high quality brand like Swiss gear. The super dry bag I was replacing this lasted two years with out a problem. It’s too much hassle to go through returns. Swissgear Needs to replace this.
