> 3 dayWell I finally decided to delid my 6700k last year and got this for the IHS to AIO interface. Ive read many big OC guys use this and get better temps and longevity. Not the case for me. So over the last 3-4 months Ive noticed my CPU temps slowly start to get higher and higher and I couldnt figure out why. I had applied this paste about 8-9 months prior. I started to think my AIO was getting old and starting to loose water. Come to find out when I disassembled my system to RMA a component the paste seemed like it disappeared. Obviously not all of it but it seemed as if a bunch of it evaporated or something. There wasnt as much still there as there was when I applied it. Not sure whats going on there. This stuff probably cant evaporate but with the thermal cycles I guess it might be possible. Anyway I put everything back together with some Arctic silver I had left from previous builds and my temps were low again.

> 3 dayOn paper this is the best performing standard thermal paste, with my exprience it perfomed about the same as the ARCTIC MX-4. This average performing thermal paste comes with a unacceptable price, $10 AUD for only one gram?!?! One gram was only enough for around 2 light application (Maybe one if you use a lil extra). You can get 4g grams of ARCTIC MX-4 for the same price and performance. To sum it up, this thermal paste is over priced.

> 3 dayI didnt think i would get cooler temps using Kryonaut after already using a top brand paste on my IHS already, i gave Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut a go and all i can say is awesome. Under stress tests my cpu is 5 - 10 degrees cooler than previous application of a top branded thermal paste. Also added to GPU which previously was hitting 69 under load now 60. Would defo recommend.

> 3 dayI used Artic Silver and its successors from 2000 until I switched out to Arctic MX-4 for daily use . I made that switch because AS5 couldnt handle the GTX580s. After the stock TIM failed on my 4 580s in 2 years of usage I repasted with AS5 and within weeks my temps would creep up again. So I researched, gave MX-4 the nod and all was good until my Alienware 17r4 with a GTX1080 and the intel i7-7820HK, Due in no small part to the iffy and well documented tension system the stock thermal compound just wasnt sufficient, let alone acceptable out of the box. SO I used a fresh tube of the MX-4 and about a year after, I started seeing microstuttering, sidebanding lag, and thermal problems in general worsen from initial onset over a month. That Kyronaut had had some time on the market since I bought this laptop I decided to order it up and utry it out. The temps I am seeing are easily superior to MX-4 new and settled in. Provided this stuff holds up over time it will be my defacto paste. The performance is great and the applicability is not particularly problematic. Good for any one with gumption and hands to build their own or willing to repaste a laptop/PS/GPU.
