Greater than one weekWorked well in my 2017 iMac. It did not come up when I added the memory to the second bank. I took out the existing memory and put this memory in the first bank and the original memory in the second bank and it booted up after a about 20 seconds. I think it take the iMac a few minutes to check the new memory configuration. Also, I was worried about mixing dual bank and single bank ram. My original ram was single bank and this memory was dual bank, but it seems to be working properly.

Greater than one weekMake your Macbook pro mid 2012 into a much faster machine. It wont be like a brand new one, but surely its better than spending 1500$ + tax for a slight increase in performance. This is an excellent solution for those people desiring to fight back against apples ludicrous proprietary cost gauge model and built in obsolescence. Great Product! This is all about Ram, most system IOS updates increase the system base page file requirements and the max supported 8gb of ram was always planned on driving sales unnecessarily. Most browsers + 0S eat up 8gb of ram. Coincedence? I think not...
