> 3 dayI usually use a Mac Mini, a MacBook Pro and an iMac all from 2011, which I personally take care of. The memories I bought I intended to put on the Mini but for the moment I wanted to install them on the iMac to bring it almost to its maximum (32GB). iMac on which there are a 240 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD. RAM installation is simple, just open the flap at the bottom of the machine. With the 12 GB I had until a few days ago the iMac was already very fast, even with several memory-hungry programs active at the same time, both resident and with streaming from the internet running. In the next few days, I will be more aware of how much better it will perform with this upgrade. In any case, the RAM of all four banks were recognized without problems already at the first start-up. 2 x8GB + 2 x 4GB.

18-12-2024Installed these into my mid 2011 MBP. It sped my computer up ridiculously, I am so happy I shelled out the bucks for this bump in productivity. I almost didnt install the new SSD that I ordered, almost didnt need it. Anyways Ill update this review in a few months in case I see any changes.

> 3 dayUsed this to upgrade my Late 2013 iMac 27 from 16 to 32 GB RAM. Learned the hard way of a RAM parameter I had not previously been familiar with: CAS latency (which was not even mentioned in Apples own upgrade instructions). The OEM RAM Apple used was CL11. If you add RAM with a *faster* (i.e., better) CL rating (e.g., CL10), the memory controller will actually reduce the clock rate for memory access from 1600 MHz to 1333 MHz! Not that its a huge effect for many typical uses, but still.

Greater than one weekI am no technology’geek’ i have a hard time just using my apple phone so i was very skeptical about whether i could install this on my own. But after getting the right tools and follow a video from you tube it was super easy to install my computer is super fast and I’m loving it. Trust me if i can replace the RAM you can. And i saved so much money than getting a ‘geek squad’ or ‘apple genius’ to install it.

> 3 dayThese RAM cards came in a small package. There were both working well and I had no problem adding them to my computer. I added the ram to my MacBook Pro 2012. Fantastic product.
