I typically dont write reviews, but this is the worst item that I have purchased on Amazon. The 1st one would not hook up to the internet. The second one finally connected to the internet but continually shuts off after 2 minutes even though I have the timer set for 15 minutes. Dont waste your money on these power monitors.

Working all over the house with no booster in the router. worked on the fridge till I pushed it back against the wall. Fixed that by plugging it into a power strip on the side of the fridge. Freezer and torch on back porch no problem. Power usage very useful info. Probably need to replace the fridge. I have the app on my phone and tablet. the tablet seems more responsive than the phone when you touch an icon. I have 11 of these in use now. most of them the square ones. two fit in a wall socket. The 10 amp rating has been no issue even on the fridge or freezer.

The device feels plastic and cheap but its only the exterior feeling, the device seems to be a very robust one and works almost perfectly, the app is the only downside to it, its just another one of those tuya apps, if you recognize that name, then you know what I am saying, is a copy paste of another apps, and it feels a bit empty on some areas such as the power meter side, but it gets the job done, I wish they would put a bit more effort on the app and expand its capabilities, I am sure it is possible to do it though an app update, and it will greatly improve the possibilities and potencial of the device

While easy to set up, install, and providing great data with excellent remote control; I cannot recommend a product that advertises 1800 watts, 15 amps, and gets to 200F at 1,300 watts. Fire hazard if you have a sustained or high load. For less than 1,000 watts, its probably fine.

I got these before they upgraded and made smaller outlet devices but these were perfectly fine. I use these to monitor the electricity usage for my air conditioners and in the winter time for the space heaters. This way I know exactly how much electricity the air conditioners and space heaters are using and I can estimate my bill. I could also use them to monitor and reduce the amount of electricity Im using. Simply by turning the air conditioner up or the space heater down youll notice a big change in the amount of electricity used and the amount you have to pay simply by having this little device at home.

A very simple easy to install wifi device for your home security. We bought multiple timers for different rooms when we were traveling. We were able to manage the device timings and intervals remotely with their app. Supports multiple on/off intervals per day and also different intervals on different days of the week. Good price as well. Awesome product. Just buy it.

Amazon had these plugs on sale so I had to buy myself another pack. I used them as light switches for my rooms, i use them to turn on my electronics right as i get home from work. They tell me how much money Im saving on electricity by being able to monitor my usage. I just absolutely love these plugs. I got my friends and family using them as well. Knowledge is power!

Arrived quickly. Downloaded iPhone App, discovered plug and came on-line quickly. Alexa service could immediately control. The iPhone app works well as a remote control, too. Response time is very fast. Easy to move and re-configure, change the name, etc. I ordered as a stop gap to run a sump-pump with a faulty switch - which is why I got the heavy duty plug - and it worked exactly as I had hoped.

What I like: - So far they work as advertised (instructions notwithstanding) - I like the energy monitoring feature and it seems to be reasonably accurate for my one test of a small load (light bulbs). - I havent tried any of the scheduling or timer features, but using the app to turn the relay on and off is responsive. What I dont like: - Its only 10 amps, not 15A or 20A. I knew they were only 10A before buying, but people who arent so familiar with what 10 amps means are going to plug in a space heater to one of these things and start a fire. - Yet another thing that requires an always-on internet connection to a big database that can be hacked. Why cant I just talk to the device directly using wifi or via bluetooth? If the company goes out of business does my plug stop working? - Theres an LED on it thats on when the power is on. I have enough LEDs in my life. I primarily bought these so I could use an Amazon Echo to turn on and off some lights that arent attached to a switched outlet. The instructions in the box (and on the website) say to search for an Alexa skill called TOPGREENER, but that doesnt exist. Frustrating. A bit of internet research led me to discover these plugs are a rebranded version of (or use tech from) some other Chinese company that Ive never heard of called Tuya. There is a Tuya skill available on the Alexa app, and a Tuya app. Basically, replace TOPGREENER with TUYA and the instructions work fine.

What I like most about these WiFi enabled smart electrical plugs is that it has all the features that the others have, plus what I really need is to be able to monitor your energy usage. Very helpful when trying to determine if an appliance is starting to go bad, when you see the energy use increases.
