This works well as a double check for your work. Not a replacement for no experience in wiring.

Identified an open Ground on one of my outlets. Remember if you are going to measure AC Current that you will need a Clamp-On Ammeter.

If your looking for a cheap good plug tester, this works great. It is a simple device and there isnt much to it, but mine has taken a beating over the past week an it works great, even after 15ft falls.

The tester part reduces the size of the 1st hole and my clamp meter doesnt fit it.

Accurately tested several outlets. would buy again. Reliable.
