Triplett AC Line Splitter and GFCI Outlet/Receptacle Tester with 5 Visual Indicators (ET200)

> 3 dayIts not a very stylish design, unlike some others, but on the other hand, it works perfectly, first time, every time, unlike many of the competitors. The lights are clear and bright, the button wont get pushed on accident, but is easy to trip when you want, and the GFCI LED is undeniable proof when the outlet isnt working right. Pushing the button instantly trips working GFCI outlets before the LED can light-up, and makes it incredibly quick and easy to go through an entire house and check out every single outlet in record time, easily making it worth the purchase price in just the first 10 minutes of use. Even if youre tired of the proliferation of specialty tools you need to carry around, like I am, this is one to get, as a multimeter takes so damn much longer. Dont bother with other models, just because they look sleeker... They got it right with this one.

> 3 dayI have KAIWEETS small and large clamp amp meter, both fit very easily into the 1X hole on the Triplett line splitter and receptacle tester. I dont understand a other reviewer claiming problem. Handy having both tools in one. Solid construction. Dont feel like opening it up to check quality of connections but the plug seems good. Works.

> 3 dayIdentified an open Ground on one of my outlets. Remember if you are going to measure AC Current that you will need a Clamp-On Ammeter.

Greater than one weekI use this for checking electrical outlets daily. After 2 days of using this tester, the ground prong became loose which pretty much rendered this tester useless.

> 3 dayI live in an area that electric power goes out during thunderstorms. I bought and use a portable generator to keep the essential house items running but always had concerns of overloading the generator. I bought this product and have used it several times with no difficulty and I am now can be assured that the generator is well within its capability for keeping me comfortable in my home.

> 3 dayUnless you own a tiny clamp meter, you wont be able to clamp onto the 1X hole as it is WAY too small. Of the 5 clamping meters I own, not one of them could fit through the 1X hole. Although I do not mind having to divide by 10 to get the valid amps, I can get a 10X splitter a lot cheaper than the $20 for a feature I can not even use. Poorly designed.
