I used all the dye, including the extra packs, for my daughter’s birthday. We had 10 girls tie dying and they didn’t spare an ounce of dye on their shirts. I even had one bottle left over.

Loved the colors. What I thought was grey turned out to be a dark, dark teal color.

I bought this kit at Hobby Lobby and I absolutely LOVE how it came out! I havent tie dyed anything since I was like 9 so I was nervous. I have a few tips if, like me, you havent done it in forever: * Do it outside if you can. It was too cold here so I ended up doing it in my bathtub but I lined the bottom of my tub with plastic wrap to prevent stains. Doing that worked perfectly. * When you fill the bottle, close the lid well, hold your finger over the cap tight, and shake it really well away from your face. I ended up with a few small dark flecks in my dye from not shaking it well enough but it doesnt bother me. * Once you dye your stuff, place them in individual zip loc bags and let them sit for a full day. * Rinse in cool water until the water runs clear. Then wash on warm (or cold) with only a little soap and the largest load size/most water possible. Dry as normal (I just did a medium heat dry cycle). Im happy with the results and plan to dye more stuff soon!

This product is awesome and we will be buying the other colors as well. Bonus is that after you use up the colors there is packets of more dye in the box! So you get 2 projects out of this!

While I love the product itself, it worked great, and I had tons of fun with my kids. It doesn’t really do 30 pieces. Unless you do 30 small items. You really have to saturate the items to avoid missed spots, therefore the dye goes fast. The fun we had outweighs that, but I felt it was important to mention that.

Caps on jars are not airtight. Dye leaked out when applying to fabric. Plastic gloves are useless and rubber bands broke easily.

This tie dye set is the best we have used. The colors are vibrant and have lasted after several washes so far! The included booklet has several pattern ideas that are easily replicated.

More product than expected. If you want pastel color use less dye... these are bright !

Bought these to tie dye some stuff for work. What an easy process, and I was pleased to realize theres enough in there for a second batch! They include extra dye packets. The colors all look really nice together, and if they mingle it doesnt create any browns. The instructions are easy to follow and I feel pretty good about what I produced, despite the fact that I havent done tie dye in over a decade. I dyed 5 shifts, 6 pairs of underoos, and 5 canvas bags with the first half of the kit.

As I was filling the bottles with water as instructed one of the bottles had a hole in it, it leaked and ruined everything.
