Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit Block Party 16oz 8 Color Tie Dye, Rainbow

We had six people dying 2-3 shirts each, and had PLENTY of color with some left over! The colors were bright and vibrant, and washed well. Directions were easy to follow too!

This block party kit does not do anywhere near 72 projects (unless youre doing something much smaller than shirts, maybe?). We had to run to craft stores to round up more dye mid-project when we realized we were going to come up really short. But, other than that, its great! Super easy to use and lots of fun! It has clear instructions for the process, plus directions to make different patterns. We let the dyed shirts sit overnight before we rinsed them, and I was surprised by how well they held their color! We used some smaller bottles to mix additional colors, too.

I wish the colors were more vibrant but I get it it’s hard depending on the fabric your using. Was a good product to use if use for fun tye dying. Wouldn’t recommend if using to make high quality long lasting tye dye garments.

You don’t have to have a plain white T-shirt. We tie dyed shirts with logos and they turned out so cute! Make sure to use the gloves and follow the easy directions.

This kit is a fantastic deal! The colors were very vibrant and there was so much dye. My group was almost all beginners and we dyed 18 adult shirts sized M-2Xl, we added extra water to the more popular colors as we got low and even those colors were very bright (blue/purple and blue/green shirts. Blue green was VERY diluted). We still had plenty of dye leftover too, if we were doing all shirts rainbow colored we easily could have done 20. The bottles make it very easy, just make sure they are mixed up all the way. I recommend extra rubberbands and better gloves the ones in the kit are cheap. Clean up wasnt bad, this will stain hands for a few day but it came off my tub and sink with just a little bleach.

Used on 5 kids shirts and 3 adult shirts. There was extra dye leftover. We used soda ash rinse even though the directions said it wasn’t needed. I think that and letting the shirts sit for 24 hours improved the results. The only issue with the kit was the bottles would spray very easily. You have to be careful to keep them upright and direct their spray. Overall, we had a great result.

This is a lot of dye if you’re not having a party. We put them into smaller bottles to use separately. There are only 6 colors but you can mix them on the shirt for a funky look.

Otherwise it was great. Good thing with tie dying, it not too noticeable.. Also, make sure you have an adequate work space! This dye really sticks! Everything we dyed came out great!!
