These bottles have large holes so a lot of dye comes out. The pattern I was following was using needle nozzles so my shirts came out kinda wrong. Though it is tye dye so is it really? There is a lot of dye here so make sure you have enough items since you can not save it once mixed.

I used this kit to tie-dye shirts for my prek class field day. The shirts came out amazing! I followed the directions to make the spiral and each shirt came out bright with a clear spiral pattern! The kids were thrilled! Pros: -easy to use squirt bottles -no pre-soaking required -color came out bright and lasts -we received many compliments on our shirts! Cons: -made fewer t-shirts than expected -messy and a little difficult to use, but hey, its tie-dye My observations and tops: -This kit claims to make up to 72 projects, but it made 18 youth small t-shirts, 3 adult small t-shirts, and 1 adult xl t-shirt, with a enough dye for maybe 2-3 more shirts. So Id buy 1 kit per class of 18-20 students. -its still messy. I used a turkey roasting tin and my own more fitted latex-free gloves. I also covered the table with a plastic cover and wore an apron. -I ended up having to apply the dye as it quickly became too messy for the kids to be touching the dyes. And the you really have to pry into the creases of the shirts to saturate the fabric with enough dye. -if you get the fabric slightly damp, the dye applies mush easier. Too wet and the dye runs out. Dry fabric repels the dye and it rolls off.

Got this for my friend for Christmas and he is having a blast!! He wore tie dye a lot so we got him this kit and he’s been so creative with it! I guess it was perfect to start him out with his own tie dye creations!

Bottle size is great! I am sad that the yellow arrived open and my fingers are stained from trying to salvage the powder mess and get it back into the bottle. Would exchange but can’t get to the ups store anytime soon. Would have given 5 stars if not for that.

You don’t have to have a plain white T-shirt. We tie dyed shirts with logos and they turned out so cute! Make sure to use the gloves and follow the easy directions.

I bought this to tie dye some shirts with my nephews for the 4th of July. I have previously used procion dye with a soda ash soak and was pleased to see there was no soaking required. After filling the bottles, it was clear that we had way more dye than I thought. We made around 15 shirts ranging from large adult to small child and there was plenty left over. After several washes the shirts are still vibrant and have not bled into the wash. I would strongly recommend this for a quick, easy, and fun project.

I made 25 shirts, (adult sized M-XL) ,8 pairs of adult socks, 5 kid sized shirts. I still had enough left over for a few more pieces. Process was very easy. Let product sit overnight and rinsed/washed the next day. Colors are still a bit muted but the kids loved them! Not sure how long they will hold up over time but for a one time use event these are great. Note**** you need to buy more rubber bands. The kit came with enough for 12 shirts. I had to run out mid project to buy some.

This kit was so easy to use. I definitely recommend. Especially is you are new to tye dye. This was my first time doing this with the kids.

This is the size all tie dye kits should be. If you are worried these would be too large they are not. I always get frustrated that the average kits can only make a handful of nice shirts. They advertise being able to do alot but not if you want nice rich color for your shirts. These have enough to be able to saturate your shirts and still make 10+ depending

The dye worked great. Eady to use and finished shirts looked awesome. Took off 1 star because this DOES NOT do 72 projects! We did 6 tshirts, 2 long sleeve shirts, 1 hoodie, 1 sweatshirt, and 1 hat. Still did quite a lot and have enough left over that we could probably do 3 more tshirts.
