> 3 dayFirst the positive info: The variety of colors in this pack are awesome. We had some really beautiful shirts come out of our group activity. Everybody was please with the colors. Also, I don’t think tie-dye can get much easier than using squirt bottles to apply the color. Very easy to use for a group of kids ranging from 6th to 12 grade. The only problem was estimating how much I would need for a group. This was my first year as the craft organizer at a youth group camp. I knew tie-dye shirts are a staple activity that the students LOVE to do. Tulip brand one-step dye was used in the past so I just decided to go with it this year too. I did a lot of research before hand to make good use of our funds and still have enough for all the kids. I decided to go with these bundles because they were $15.85 each at the time I purchased. I was a little bit surprised by how small the bottles were, though, and I was nervous upon seeing them that we woudn’t have enough. I read several questions regarding the Tulip dyes and it seemed like one bottle per person on average was recommended. I can tell you that is NOT the case for the bottles in this pack. Between five packs I had 90 bottles. We were only able to do 66 shirts and on those last shirts we were literally going through every bottle to use every last drop of dye we could. We had to turn a few kids away because we didn’t have enough dye. Now I understand the situation was a result more of my planning and not because of the product, however, I did find it hard to figure out how much I needed ahead of time (even with all the research I did). I would say for this pack plan on at least an average of 1.5 bottles per shirt. So if you bought one kit, you might get twelve adult size sm-large shirts done. You might even want to be safe and plan on only 10 shirts out of this pack. I hope that helps anyone in the future.

> 3 dayThis set comes with 18 bottles filled with dye powder that guy just add water and mix and is ready to use! It comes with a pair of dye gloves and rubber bands in a plastic case with handle. One bottle was enough for three tshirts, but ran out of popular colors fast. Very easy to use and highly recommend!

> 3 dayThis kid has beautiful colors and is super easy and super cute. The colors are vibrant and it was very fun making tie-dye shirts with my niece. The only thing is I suggest not using the day after it’s already been mixed for a couple days. We didn’t use it all at once so it was already mixed for a few months and we tried it again and the colors didn’t come out as vibrant but they definitely still looked pretty just lighter.

> 3 dayWe had about 6 kids over for a party plus parents. I ordered one bc of reviews that said one is enough. When I got it the bottles were so small so I got another. We used one full out plus 4 bottles from the 2nd with the popular colors. This is my first time doing this. But I attached a photo to show two different results after rinse and wash. On the first photo on the top is a vibrant one, on the bottom is a ok one but a little faded, it looked so good before washing it. Most of mine faded after wash and I followed instructions. I let both stew in the bag for 17 hours. So here are my tips, if you want vibrant and contrast in the result, you must tie the bands tight AND be very generous with the dye. It is easy to use half a bottle on one tee shirt. So each bin comes with two bottles of each color (or at least the popular colors). So if you get one and you are worried it wont last for all the projects you want to do, you will not saturate the shirt enough because you want everyone to have enough dye. So I would advise get another box just in case. And then make sure you are using the tightness of the band to prevent the dye from dying the fabric and then generously apply the dye so that it really gets into the fabric. If you dont put enough and the bands arent tight enough then it will fade during the rinse and wash. But I havent tested my theory. In the future if I really want vibrant I would probably do it without the party so I can focus on mine being really good and vibrant. I even dyed a few for myself before the party but I was concerned about using up too much dye so they first looked amazing but when I rinsed and washed and dried they faded a lot and the white spots got a smidge bluish. The other two photos you can see the range of results I got.

Greater than one weekmy father recently passed so to lift our spirits my mother, sister, and I had a “tie dye party” and bought two of these kits and it was great! the colors are INCREDIBLE!! There is such a wife variety and they are so fun and vibrant! Even after washing they look great! The product is super easy to use just rubberband your tie dye item of choice then fill the color dispenser with some water and shake and tie dye!! Super fun activity for all ages! I’ll have to buy some more!

> 3 dayInstructions were clear and final results were great!! My boys (3 and 9) did their own BY THEMSELVES! I just banded the shirts for them. This was such a fun activity for a Sunday. Of course I tried to get fancy with mine and had a couple of dye dots, but I still think it looks great! We have enough colors and bands leftover to do it again soon with different patterns. I can’t wait to try the pastel colors in the future. Used on 100% cotton plain white shirts. They did not express how careful you should be with this dye (it stains the skin) just make sure to wear old clothes and put rubber bands around the gloves at your wrists. We did the job outside on a sunny day. We put the dyed shirts in baggies and waited 24 hours and left them in the sun before rinsing then washing them. I’m obsessed and snatching every plain white piece of fabric around the house for round 2- nothing is safe!!!

> 3 dayMaking tie dye t-shirts is a highlight of our camping trip in the summer. Everyone can participate, and the “unveiling” of the shirt when it’s rinsed is a lot of fun. It’s a mess, but we plan for that, and the kids proudly wear their shirts that they made afterwards. It’s hard for the kids to wait until the next day to unwrap the shirts because they have to sit for 12 hours or so but it adds to the anticipation

03-01-2025We tye-dye once a year, every year. Nothing professional, but our projects turned out just as bright and colorful with this dye as the expensive pack we bought last year! I will be looking for this again next time we tye-dye!
