I just ordered the same kit for the 6th time. Initially, I got it for my kids 2-3 years ago as a summer project. They loved it so much, some time later we bought another one. When the price drops, I order a few to give as presents to my kids’ friends. They all love this kit! Great value. My daughter made a few shirts that she’s worn and washed countless times. The colors do start to fade after a while, but that’s fine.

This set comes with 18 bottles filled with dye powder that guy just add water and mix and is ready to use! It comes with a pair of dye gloves and rubber bands in a plastic case with handle. One bottle was enough for three tshirts, but ran out of popular colors fast. Very easy to use and highly recommend!

I bought this as it was going to be tie dye day on the last day of school. We did not have any so I bought some white shirts and away we went doing this fun activity. We all made our own and it was easy and fun! We had more than enough and I know this is set for a tie dye party but totally suggest it for a party or even a family wanting a little fun!

These dyes worked great just didnt have enough to dye all our items! The package indicates that it can dye 36 items but we didnt find that to be the case. We dyed 17 pieces (6 kids shirts, 6 adult shirts and 5 pairs adult boxers briefs) and ran out after that. We didnt heavily soak our items with dye, some actually came out quite white. We ended up needing to get 2 kits to finish our dying. Also, the first case of colored dye we received didnt give us all the colors it mentioned on the outside of the box. We were given an extra blue and one less green. The second set we ordered was fine.

Based off reviews I decided to order this item over other tie dye kits because I had 21 items I was planning on dying. Without over using the product and wasting dye (we were careful to not waste and almost didn’t use enough on a few shirts) we did not have enough dye to complete what we planned to dye. The colors were vibrant and wonderful selection of colors. It is very falsely advertised that this will make 36 items. 9 of the items we made were baby onesies that barely needed dye. We could have used bigger bottles and found that 1 of these small bottles covered 1 shirt. We died adult small 9 shirts, 9 baby onesies, 1 small baby blanket. I will order 2 of this kit and one of the XL kits for the future because we did enjoy the color variety that the XL kit doesn’t offer.. great product and best value just don’t be fooled by “36 projects” or the reviews saying 1 bottle makes 3 shirts because it doesn’t........ they’re little small bottles! My son used 1 whole bottle of black and it barely covered 1 shirt with half staying white. To get the best color vibrancy we let the shirts soak in individual zip lock bags for 20 hours in 70°+ outside and 2 hours in the 100°+ sun to seal. Then rinsed in cold, warm then hot water until clear as reviews suggested and then washed in 3 separate small loads with detergent. We’ve used several different Tulip kits and still feel this gave the best color selection, my only wish is the bottles were a little larger.... we planned to dye 23 items and ran out before we could finish. The last item dyed was a random combo dye of whatever was left over in each bottle because I didn’t want to waste it. Make sure you wipe down bottles before touching bare handed because there was a lot of loose dye powder on each bottle. When mixing I wiped down each bottle with a wet rag (don’t skip this step!!)

My husband and I were looking for fun date nights to do during quarantine and after googling and searching around found out we always wanted to do our own tie-dye projects! We bounced around on different clothing items with the galaxy one but we really wanted to make a tie-dye sheet set for our king mattress. These kits are easy to use, there are a TON of fun tutorials on youtube and everywhere, and we continue to use the kits to make shirts/sweats/bedding/ and are tempted to do a wall tapestry next. The colors are super vibrant, but make sure to wear gloves and black clothing so it doesnt stain because it absolutely will, the wash out process isnt painful, and after one wash I havent had any bleeding in my other laundry. Highly recommend all this brands kits.

This worked great we got 4 kids shirts and two adult shirt made and I think we have 4 random bottles of dye left! We probably would have had more left over but we wanted to make sure the shirts were covered in color so we probably over saturated them.
