Vacuum Bare Surface Canister Floor Brush, Compatible with Kenmore

My Kenmore vacuum head is very sturdy. Unfortunately, it broke while we were moving but mostly due to our negligence rather than product sturdiness. I purchased this one to replace it. Like its predecessor, this one is also very sturdy and fits nicely. Its similar to the old vacuum head but slightly stiffer. Its harder to rotate the head into a position where I want it to be while I vacuum. But maybe its just me because my roommate cant tell the difference.

The kenmore vacuum I have didnt come with this attachment. I was hesitant to purchase it, but it fit!

While it fits my Kenmore vacuum cleaner perfectly, I noticed that the height of the brushes keeps it a bit higher off the floor than I think the original floor brush did. Since I threw out the original, I cant compare them, so this is simply based on my memory (I could be wrong). But based on this I would give it only 4-stars - it does work well, but on hardwood floors I would like it to be a bit closer to the surface. NOT a big problem, just a preference.

I couldn’t find a nozzle with the right holes but was able to drill this one and modify to 12 o’clock position. Newer Kenmore is at 9 o’clock and won’t need modifications. Description should be updated

I was amazed that I was able to purchase these canister vacuum brush ends. I use them on all my industrial vacuums. They get the job done. Thank you.

Identical replacement for the original brush which had become lost.

This brush is a perfect replacement for the original brush that came with my Kenmore canister vacuum cleaner. In fact, the locking ball on the side of the vacuum handle tube actually locks and clicks into the small hole on the side of the brush more easily than the original brush. The bristles have held up just fine and the quality seems perfect, so I rated it as 5 stars!

Wish this simply came along with our new vacuum, but we had to order it separately so that we’d have a bare floor attachment. Found that it snaps onto our Kenmore with no problem, but is fairly narrow and takes a lot of passes to cover even a small area. It’s also at a bit of an awkward angle since it only articulates a little bit. Our older model Kemore came with a much better setup...but they just doesn’t exist anymore. This piece should be wider and more substantial and it would be perfect. Maybe some new larger options will be available someday? I’d buy that in s second.

This is perfect it fit on my Kenmore canister vacuum with no issues, I am very pleased. To order from Kenmore directly or from Sears for this product costs a fortune, so I was weary about this after seeing the reviews but for the price I figured it was worth the gamble and I’m so glad I got it. Would definitely order it again if need be. We have a new puppy and he chewed the original one when I left it out overnight.
