> 3 dayOur dermatologist recommended this for my husband who has extremely dry skin. It works really well to heal and prevent painful cracks. This is the only product that my husband uses to moisturize his dry skin. It doesnt really have much scent and the little it does have goes away quickly.

> 3 dayRecommended by my dermatologist after I suffered breakouts of dermatitis/eczema, Vanicream works so well morning and night to moisturize my face. No more breakouts, and my skin at 67 is smoother than ever. I use the Vanicream facial wash twice daily, the Vanicream body lotion (daily) and the Vanicream antiperspirant each morning. Love these products that have no scent at all.

Greater than one weekI read the review about eczema and felt compelled to write. Many struggle to find a cure for this condition and we were blessed to break the eczema cycle on our daughter who itched constantly. We still use Vanicream today to help moisturize her skin. It had been 9 years and I do not remember all of the details, but here is what I can tell you. We learned from a local school counselor whose son had eczema bad. She visited the National Jewish Hospital in Colorado who specializes in auto immune diseases. Here is a general treatment summary. Soak in the bathtub (or hands if that is only area affected) in as hot as water as tolerable for exactly 20 minutes. Do not dry off, and on the hot spots, we dabbed a 1% steroid ointment---might have been elecon, but I cant remember. Do not rub in. On the rest of the skin, we smothered in Vanicream. We then dressed her in wet pajamas soaked in warm water (ringed out) and put two layers of dried sweats on her to keep her warm. She kept the clothes on for two hours minimum and when we took off, layered again in vanicream and rubbed it in this time and put on regular clothes. Do this three or four times a day (yes, it takes a commitment) At nighttime, we tried to have her sleep in the wet clothes as long as possible. We did this for 5 days and IT BROKE HER ECZEMA CYCLE. It is the only treatment I have ever heard of that worked. Steriods were getting too much, nothing seemed to work and we went to Cleveland Clinic, and at least 10 other doctors and all we heard was Steriods is the answer and It is a tough disease that she will have to live with TOday she is 15 and just has dry skin at times. I still buy vanicream and I would recommend anyone who is struggling with eczema to try the above.....cant hurt and could change your life. It changed hers and ours [email protected]

> 3 dayBought this on a recommendation from another mother whose child has eczema and the weird all over tiny skin bumps that sometimes go with it. The ones that the dermatologist just tells you to moisturize/keep clean, but is too widespread for a prescription cream/ointment to be effective/and not sell a kidney expensive to maintain for long periods of time. By day two of applying the bumps were disappearing. Really pleased with results. It is about the consistency of a thick sunscreen, but absorbs into the skin for a soft layer not a greasy one.

Greater than one weekI dont remember how many tubs Ive used up. Ive always wanted to try some fancy face and body lotions but in the end I just had to come back to this. I live in a humid weather and I have combination oily skin yet I still use it even in the summertime (just less amount). Recently my aunt had some unknown skin issue (most likely due to coldness and dryness) I let her try Vanicream and few days later, no more issue for her.

> 3 dayOnce again I love this product for my 4-year old hypersensitive, highly allergic daughter. We tried every product - natural and non-specific brand at all the major retail stores for babies and kids. This one was recommended by her allergist (MD) and it has proven to be a great product. We use it on her eczema, dry skin, face, body, hands, you name it, and it does its job -- protective, gentle, fragrance free and MD recommended. I personally dont like the tub but you can purchase it with a pump for an extra cost.

> 3 dayIt is an incredible moisturizer! I started off using as much of it as I would Cetaphil and found it quite heavy but Ive almost halved what I used and it feels light while still moisturizing well. A little goes a long way. It has no scent once applied which I like and no questionable ingredients.
