> 3 dayMy toddler developed eczema and the pediatrician recommended this. I, myself suffer from dry skin patches only. I dont like it; its too thick and greasy for me. Ive used it a couple times and definitely not regularly. This is good enough as a barrier to prevent loss of moisture for those with very dry skin, but it doesnt moisturize very well. I would recommend to put this over another light moisturizer after a shower or in the morning. Our skin conditions have improved, but my toddlers eczema is persistent and flares up every other day. This truly is a daily use product. Overall, its good enough.

02-04-2025So happy to have finally found the perfect lotion for my extra dry and sensitive skin! Have tried other brands but this is the only one that work! Very thick and moisturizing.

> 3 dayI have washed my face with vanicream for 36 years, gets the dirt off without drying my skin and doesn’t aggravate my chronic hives. I also apply after every shower with no stickiness, wonderful product.

Greater than one weekThis was recommended by a doctor to us for my daughter’s eczema. It is very moisturizing and doesn’t burn. I put a lot of Vanicream lotion and then put a tubular bandage on my daughter’s arms and legs and two days later her skin is so soft and eczema is better. We will always use this even as she grows up.

> 3 dayThis lotion has exceed my expectations. I’ve put it on my face at least 3x a week this winter to help combat dry, flaky skin. I also put it on my face before heading out in for a run in cold weather. It doesn’t cause breakouts and is very mild. I’ve used it on my toddler’s sensitive skin as well without any issues.

> 3 dayMy daughter has extremely sensitive, dry skin with red bumps and a rash. Shes been diagnosed with keratosis pilaris, which is kind of like eczema. We have tried every prescription and over the counter cream available. The only thing that ever worked well was Aquaphor, but she doesnt like the greasy feel and has started to refuse to have it applied. After some research, I tried Vanicream. I also bought California Baby Hair and Body Wash for Super Sensitive Skin. The combination of these two (which Ive only been using for a week now) has been amazing. Her legs feel smoother and softer than they have since she was a baby -- literally. Love this product.

> 3 dayI bought this product recently after reading the reviews here at Amazon.com, and have only been using it for two days. Ive tried so many different moisturizers over the years, and some very pricey. I can honestly say, Vanicream is one of the best moisturizers Ive purchased! I dont think Ive ever been this enthused over a moisturizing cream. It is a bit thick when first applied, and just takes a little while to absorb into the skin, but once it does, I think you will be very impressed. Two days ago, my elbows were rough and peeling, and in less than 48 hours, the peeling has disappeared and Im left with nothing but soft and healthy skin. My chapped hands are no longer chapped, and they feel and look great. What else can I say? I will definitely continue buying this product. It came in a nice large jar (1 lb) and was quite a bargain here on Amazon. I was also happy to learn that it is free of harmful chemicals and dyes. That is very important...especially if you have sensitive skin. Im very pleased with this product, and I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayFirst let me say that I am a label-reader: I read ingredients on everything from soup to nuts to skin creams. I never buy a product because of the package design or the celebrity that is marketing it. I go straight to the ingredients and make my decision from there (for all the Aquaphor-users out there, read the label - its Vaseline). While its very true that Vanicream is a nice, non-irritating cream for sensitive skin, the list of ingredients is still made up of long-syllabled chemicals that are hard to pronounce. This doesnt sit well with me, but my daughters dermatologist recommended it so thats why I purchased this product. Vanicream looks, feels, and smells (there is no smell) just like Cetaphil cream. In fact, we alternate between the two depending which is on sale at the time. We tend to stay away from creams that are perfumey or greasy, so when we dont want to splurge financially on natural homeopathic creams with natural ingredients that are familiar and easy to pronounce, we always come back to Vanicream.

> 3 dayI use this for myself and my kids. My husband who has very dry hands uses it as well. I use it for my face, neck, and body. We live where we have strong winters and as soon as the weather starts turning cold in the end of spring my skin starts to itch. So this has been so helpful!

> 3 dayI am absolutely in love with this product. I will forever have it in my home. It has helped SO MUCH with my toddler’s eczema. We put a Manuka lotion on first, let it dry, then this, then Aquapher and within 5 days, it’s breaking her eczema cycle. I had some dry skin on my face and this helped with that too. I’m soooo happy I found this and 100% credit it with helping her eczema. If you struggle with dry skin or eczema, GET THIS LOTION!
