> 3 dayLooking to spend a “k” on something worthwhile? Look no further. Got sun glasses? Yer gonna need’em!! I thought “eh, 4000 lumens, brighter than my old one but who’s gonna care?” Um, mom will. If your not careful the Viewsonic logo will be etched into the paint. May look like a watermark to some, but mom knows her paint! Or maybe get a screen. Are you a gamer? Don’t know why LTT hasn’t reviewed this yet. This projector should be standard equipment for sim racing!! You can turn down the brightness and such. Has a lot of settings to fiddle with. And run directly to the video card and make it your primary monitor. Then you’ll unleash “The (video) BEAST!” There’s just no comparison in my book. I went from a decent $150 projector to a $1000 one, and a bottle of sunscreen. I’d be careful viewing outdoor scenes with sunshine in them! Collect those magnifying glasses from them kids too!! They’ll have a heyday! If ya got the cash DO IT!

Greater than one weekOnly qualms are I wish the volume had more range (I have it hooked up to separate aux speakers and have to change those - which dont have a remote - if i want a meaningful change in volume) and same with brightness (its bright enough but i wish it could go darker!). also its not Smart so if you want to connect it to the internet (which almost everyone does) you need a separate smart device like a Roku or Chromecast

> 3 dayIts a solid projector that keeps its promises. It feels a bit noisy, but in eco and silent mode its bearable. Still a bit too pricey, even with all the nice features which should be a standard for theese products. Maybe go for the 1080p version since the 4k version isnt native but uses pixel shift, therefore the price difference seems a bit much.

> 3 dayThis was easy to set up, had it running off a MacBook within two minutes. The short-throw lens is fantastic, but it also projects much wider, easily 100 inches. Picture is crisp, and resolution is great even for high FPS games, which is of course what this projector was designed for. Its also a light unit, very portable. I only wish it had included a padded case at this price. NOTE: if you live above 5000 feet or so, be sure to set the projector to high altitude per the instructions (in the settings menu). This will make the fan run a bit louder, but its worth it to increase the life of the projector.

> 3 dayGreat value for money. Has a great image quality (specially in 4K content). Brightness is OK but loses definition if there is light in the room. Great value for money for a home theater!
