> 3 dayPros: 1. Nice picture. 2. Nice to be able to see different applications in different screens. Cons 1. Inadequate instructions to connect to a computer (MacBook Air 2020) that has none of the specific ports. Eventually I figured out on my own how to connect via HDMI using a hub. Not easy to do with limited technical knowledge. 2. I was disappointed to find out that the Display Manager and Split View function are only available on Windows desktop PCs. When I called tech support, they kind of minimized the importance of Split View, but I am working remotely with Microsoft Remote Desktop where a lot of functions are not available. Split Screen would have come in very handy.

> 3 dayGreat monitor for its price, used with a 2019 MacBook Pro. Easily the best part of this monitor is the USB C connection. It allows the MacBook to charge AND provide picture using a single cable. The panel is fine. No dead pixels and picture quality is good. It has a Matte finish, which isn’t as nice as the MacBook’s glossy finish, but it’s easier to clean. I had a scratch on the screen due to shipping damage. I ordered a replacement and It came with no hassle. The monitor comes at 60hz refresh rate, so I wouldn’t recommend for gaming purposes, unless a 144hz monitor is out of budget. For $350 this monitor is great!

> 3 dayI dont know about games, but this monitor is perfect for the office. Also, it came with a USB-C 3.1 or Thunderbolt cable to connect to the computer. The cable charges the laptop, and delivers video. The stands height, swivel, and tilt adjustments are amazing. The screen can be adjusted to an inch off the desktop. That is going to help with neck strain a great deal. That is the best designed monitor stand I have ever seen. The built in USBC 3.1 Hub, and the well designed stand make this monitor a great buy.

> 3 dayNicely packaged, easy to assembly, nice stand with good range of adjustment, includes HDMI & USB-C cables, great color saturation, provides power to my 15 MacBook Pro. Bought a second one a month later.

> 3 dayI’m a software engineer by trade, and these monitors are absolutely incredible. 1440p resolution and the option to turn them portrait mode are must-haves for me now. I have two with a DisplayLink dock in a work-from-home setup and it’s better than any hardware we had in the office.

> 3 dayTo start, let me reiterate whats already been shared. This monitor will only work with a Mac laptop with a USB-C 3.1 connector. I originally tried using my USB-C charging cable that I use to power my laptop and that DOES NOT WORK. I went to the Apple Store to buy a Belkin USB-C 3.1 cable. I told the Apple Store clerk I needed this cable for use with a Monitor and they tried convince me I would need a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C cable instead. I ended up buying both and they both work, but I will be returning the Thunderbolt cable because it was $10 more expensive (And .2 meters shorter ). I should gone with my gut, now I have another errand to run. Just get the Belkin USB-C 3.1 and the monitor is plug and play! I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this monitor, after adjusting the Color/Brightness/Contrast Ive got it matching my Mac laptop Retina display very nicely. I will say, the brightness on the laptop can go maaaybe a hair brighter than the monitor, but its barely noticeable. Also the sharpness on the monitor looks great, but its not quite as clear as the laptop. That means this probably isnt the best monitor for high end detailed Video/Graphic design work, but for everything else this monitor is excellent. The aspect ratio on the monitor is a little wider than the laptop so you have to deal with a tiny sliver of letterboxing on the laptop. (You can also opt for vertical letterboxing on the monitor, but this doesnt look as good). Other great features: The USB-C 3.1 cable will charge your laptop while also presenting the display. There are an additional 3 standard USB ports. Ive tested out the usb connections and the devices Ive tested have worked perfectly with my laptop. This is a great bonus. Also, the stand was so easy to set up. The monitor snaps into place and the base screws into the neck with a single flat head screw (But it has a twist handle so you dont even need a screw driver. The stand is heigh adjustable and also rotates about its vertical axis and tilts up and down. The best part is it also rotates about its depth axis so you can work on projects in Portrait rather than landscape orientation. Perfect for writing. The speakers on this thing are awful, but I cant imagine anyone would buy a monitor for audio quality. Grab a pair of external speakers and youll be set. Overall, this a great deal for a very good 1440p monitor with some useful additional features. I recommend it for use with a mac laptop for anything other than high end video/graphic work. For everyday use, its excellent.

> 3 dayI tried the provided USB Type C cable, the provided DisplayPort cable, and this USB Type C (3.1) cable (https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-USB-Type-C-Gen1-Cable/dp/B01GGKYUKI), and all I got was No signal on the screen. I am extremely frustrated and dont know why my macbook pro 16 is not working with this monitor. googling didnt help much, but i could confirm other people were seeing this issue, perhaps due to a macOS problem. I hope someone from ViewSonic can help.
