Very good works as it says it should

So far was great up until about a day ago started to have fail to read or it would just disappear from being shown got this for my ps5 everything worked flawlessly until started to have issues with it now it’s just fancy looking stick may not buy again but still need one to expand my storage just sad

My drive failed after just one month of use. Due to this, not only did I lose everything, including my operating system, I had to restart from scratch, reinstall windows, and now I have to buy esd bags, bubble wrap, and pay to ship it out for repairs. WD will not pay for any of the damages caused by their faulty drive.

Using on a PS5 and after formatting, the available storage capacity is exactly as advertised at 2TB. Installing the drive is very easy, and it is nice that the drive arrived with the heat sink already assembled to the drive unlike some of the other options out there. The hardest part of installing the drive is opening the console, I found Sony’s YouTube tutorial to be the most helpful guide there. I strongly recommend this to anyone looking to expand their console’s memory. Will update if I run into problems.

Heard about the PS5 ability to use those to free up room on the hard drive. Did my research on what to get and will work. Was easy to install and setup on the PS5. Great addition so you don’t run out of space.

Works as advertised. Used it on the PS5 and it is indistinguishable from the in-built memory.

Been a PlayStation user since the original system and have owned two of most of them. Since the PS3 Sony has had the terrible habit of launching consoles with hard drives and SSDs that have laughable capacity considering the file sizes of the games. One of the good aspects of the PS5 is that they make it extremely simple to add an SSD to augment the minuscule stock offerings.

So far it is very fast, and it was easy to install.
