I needed more storage for my NVR, the manufacturer suggested another brand but had not tested this version. I saw that it was a performer in the testing data and after install I have had zero issues. The NVR interface was able to increase my storage and I am able to record much more.

Mira que me he llevado toda la vida con WD Blue y Green, pero este mes he tenido que devolver un WD Red y ahora este WD Purple por exactamente lo mismo. Te lo envían en una especie de bolsa hermética y protegido por plástico de burbujas (solo 1 vuelta) y en un sobre normal. Ni en una misera caja de cartón, por lo que en el transcurso del viaje va a recibir cientos de miles de golpes. Pero lo peor no es eso, lo peor es que cuando me llega (a traves de la empresa UPS, que lo dejó en un estanco y no en mi casa) veo que el envoltorio tiene la marca de una bota, como cuando pisas un folio en el suelo y se quedan las huellas. Lo abro, meto en mi pc, doy formato rápido y todo parece estar en orden. Apago pc, enciendo y el pc se queda en un bucle infinito que no termina de arrancar. Desenchufo ese disco duro y voila, todo vuelve a funcionar bien. Lo siento por WD pero ya no me fio más.

somehow the drive only use for less than a week, and start undetected and making noise, the drive is defected., replaced order and will see how long it will last on the replacement order
