Raised the number of wi-fi bars on my computer from 2 to 6. Works well. One note: instructions did not note that you must re-select the new home network....it just adds an extension to your existing home networks name. It works! . It turned a back guest room with no service into a place with streaming video. Thats all I ever wanted from this. Good job!

Very happy with the extender ,it was simple to set up and put into service ,would really really recommend to other to purchase.

So far so good. Had real problems with getting a signal upstairs, but this is a game changer. Full 4-5 bars everywhere. Some people are reporting slow speeds to their existing wifi or half speeds using this device - this has not been our experience. We did have an issue that we easily remedied. My son moved the extender to a new outlet and after that for some reason it would not accept the password. So, we just did a quick hard reset. To do this, it must have power (we learned this the hard way). You need a paper clip to do it. Just keep it powered up, and with paper clip press the reset button on bottom of unit, holding it for 8-10 seconds. Then, making sure you are on the new TPLINK network, go to tplinkrepeater.net and just reset it. Will keep you posted if this is a recurring problem.

not only is there 5 bars in both upstairs bedrooms, but we can also pick it up in our back yard all the way out to our garage on the alley. And, to my surprise, even the basement picks up the signal.

Very easy set up and really great for dead spots in your home/apt. Looks very cool as well.Easy set up and good to go in nothing flat! Very pleased and I recommend.

This is the first time I have used one of these extenders and Im pleased to say it actually works. It was easy to set up and now the signal in the back of the house is every bit as strong as the front where the router is. When it works it works great. Multiple times per week I have to power it off to reconnect with wireless router. Its up and devices see it, but cant get to Internet. The reboot does cure the issue.

This product was easy to set up with a mobile phone. Plugging in the extender in the same room as the router, I pressed the WPS button the router and the corresponding button on the extender. Once the lights indicated a connection, I took the extender across the street.
